In a clear ripoff of Chris Jericho’s beginning in AEW, MVP thanked Ziggler for everything he’s done for everyone.

Backstage, Andrade, Angel Garza, and Zelina Vega are being interviewed, but the Vinking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) interupt them and promise to run through them.

This will end well.

After jumping the Viking Raiders as soon as the bell rang, Andrade and Garza worked well together and Andrade hit Erik with his double underhook DDT for the pin, givin him and Garza a two on one advantage going into the commerical.
Segment 3
Ivar missed Garza and hit Andrade with a spinning heel kick for the pin. Andrade then put Garza’s foot on the rope to save a pine, and Garza then countered a sitdown senton by Ivar for the pin and win.
Backstage in a confrontation with the Iiconics, Ruby Riott called out reinforcements. But instead of Liv Morgan, it’s Bianca Belair.
Guess what’s next?
Segment 4
The Iiconics vs Ruby Riott and Bianca Belair.
Belair had a great performance in what looks to be her Raw debut as she and Riott got the win.
Backstage, R-Truth almost lost the 24/7 Championship to Tozawa by rollup, then challenged him to a match in the ring following the commerical break.
Segment 5
24/7 Championship R-Truth (c) vs. Tozawa
The match didn’t happen as Tozawa had three ninjas with him.
Baszler came out and took out each ninja before Tozawa and Truth left the ring. SHe then declared her intention to shatter the illusion the WWE women champions have with her reality.
Guess someone’s going to get a push again?
Backstage, Rollins told Murphy to focus on his match with Aleister Black. Looks like that’s upcoming.
Segment 6
Rollins cus a promo claiming he only did what we wanted, and how he didn’t meanto harm Rey Mysterio. He then promised to end Mysterio once and for all.
Owens interupted Rollins, and offered him an eye patch for after Extreme Rules. Rollins called Murphy out, but Aleister Black came out as well, and the two started brawling.
Segment 7
Aleister Black (w/Kevin Owens) vs. Murphy (w/Seth Rollins)
The match was decent as it focused more on Murphy trying to take out Black’s legs, but Black hit with a Black Mass while Murhy was in the rope. Rollins pulled Balck out of the ring, causing it to end in disqualification.
Rey and Dominic Mysterio then came out, trapping Rollins in the ring.
Segment 8
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
The match in largly one-sided as Owens abused Rollins and Black and the Mysterios ensure Rollins can’t take advantage of a situation.
Rollins eventually hit Owens’ leg with a dropkick and dive through the ropes before the commercial break.
Segment 9
A hard fought match, Rollins nearly had it won after digging his fingers into Owen’s eyes, but Black, Dominic, and Rey took turns distacting him so Owens could hit with a stunner for the win.
Segment 10
A recap of Orton’s actions against Edge and Christian precedes an awesome promo where he talked about friendship and how he’s willing to sacrifice anyone that he feels wrongs him in some way.
Segment 11
Randy Orton vs. R-Truth
As expected, Orton beat R-Truth in seconds, but the Big Show’s arrival stopped him from punt kicking Truth. Orton then challenged Big Show to an unsanctioned match next Monday, which Big Show accepted.
Segment 12
Bobby Lashley (w/MVP) vs. Ricochet
Ricochet fought back, but it was a one-sided match before Lashley slapped on a full nelson for the win.
Segment 13
The Big Show officially accepted Randy Orton’s challenge for an unsanctioned match on next week’s WWE Raw wth a simple, “Yes! I accept!”
Easy peasy.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match is next.
Segment 14
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match – Bayley and Sasha Banks (c) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)
Before the match, Bayley and Sasha Banks preplayed their tribute video for the WWE Raw fans.
Following the video, the Kabuki Warrior came out and were subsequently attacked while being introduced. They quickly turned the tables and Bayley and Banks were outside the ring.
Segment 15
A fun match, Asuka took a brunt of the punnishment early on, but managed to tag Kairi Sane in and the match even out after she had a dominant run. Banks and Bayley threw Sane into the pexiglass as we went to comemrical.
Segment 16
The best match of the night saw Sane nearly have the victory, but Banks counterdd a sliding clothesline into a Bank Statement for the submission victory.
A pretty good show that seemed intent on putting more action in the ring. Not as good as we’d hope to see going into a pay-per-view, but not as bad as some episodes in recent memory.
