Looks like Randy Orton will start WWE Raw by naming his next target, and it may be unexpected.
While Orton has revived his Legend Killer persona and taken out legends Edge, Christian, and Big Show, there are a couple left in the promotion that could be targets.
We expect Orton to follow through on a threat he made a couple of weeks back by taking out Ric flair.
He said if Flair ever betrayed him, he’d have no choice but to punt him as well. The problem with this is Flair’s wife has reportedly tested positive for COVDI-19, so he probably won’t be there.
One name that comes to mind right away is Triple H, and since Triple H is a boss what better target?
Of course, how Triple H would betray him is key, and would it be something fans would want to see? Sure, they had a great match in Saudi Arabia before the Goldberg and Undertaker debacle, but now?
It just feels wrong, but we have an idea who to suspect, and this won’t be because of a betrayal exactly, but due to Orton’s championship hunger.

The real target?
We mentioned this last week, but we expect Orton to start WWE Raw right by naming Drew McIntyre as his next target.
When we look around, Orton’s already proven capable of taking out Legends, so why not go after a future legend?
Drew McIntyre has been called the Chosen One as is on a blistering pace of defenses that harken back to the types of champions from twenty years back.
Each week, we never knew if Steve Austin, The Rock, Mankind, or the Undertaker would hold onto the championship when they faced one another, and McIntyre is reminiscent of them and Bret Hart and Randy Savage.
The WWE needs a big time match for SummerSlam and they can’t afford to rely on another cinematic or gimmick match.
Orton and McIntyre will deliver an awesome match and can continue their feud through Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series if needed. This assumes WWE creative will allow them the scope to do this. If not, well…
To be honest, an Orton-McIntyre match is one we’d love to se. These two are capable of blowing the roof off any arena whether fans are there or not.
This would be a match or series of matches that will show what wrestling can and should be, and we’ll happily join in and love every second of it.
Who do you think Orton will target next? Let us know in the comments below.
