Backstage at WWE Raw, Seth Rollins asks Murphy what’s bothering him, and Murphy shared his concerns on the Eye for an Eye match. Rollins says nothing happen without sacrifice and for Murphy to stay focused on his match with Aleister Black and that he has a surprise planned.
Seth Rollins comes out after commercial and he looks contrite. After saying “An eye for an eye” seven times he has a bit of a breakdown as he admits he thought it was just a metaphor, but he now understands that Rey Mysterio meant it literally. Rollins can’t understand how they got to this point because he’s just trying to lead WWE Raw to a brighter future.
He’s frustrated that Mysterio is cooperating and accepting his fate as a sacrifice. He says that never before has such a match been sanctioned, and he wants us to understand that he never meant to harm Rey Mysterio.
Rey presented himself in a time of need, and Rollins tried to fulfill the prophecy because the WWE Universe made him this person and he’s trying to lead.
He admits he will do what he has to do and that is to blind Rey Mysterio.
Kevin Owens’ music started and he came out to interrupt Rollins. Owens apologized since he thought he’d pick a last man standing match or something like that.
Owens admits it disturbs him, but he’s more disturbed by Rollins being able to do what he did to a legend in their industry and force Mysterio to feel the need to rip Rollins’ eyes out.
Owens told him he’s got him covered as he has an eye patch for him.
Rollins then called Murphy out, and Aleister Black came out and a braw at ringside started.

We come back from commercial and the match ahs already started and Black is in control, but Murphy goes for his knees, and takes control as he continue working on Black’s leg.
Black countered with a kick to Murphy’s face, knocking both down for a short count before they exchange blows in the center of the ring.
Black started getting some steam going, but Murphy hit with a chop block Black’s leg. Black hit with a knee strike for a near pinfall.
Murphy countered a Black Mass with a strike to Black’s right leg.
Black hit with a Black Mass for the pin, but he pulled Black out of the ring for a disqualification.
With the match over, Rey and Dominic Mysterio came out and Rollins was trapped in the ring.
