Orton’s logic and promise
Orton cuts a WWE Raw promo backstage about having friends in the industry and how he had a handful of friends like Edge, Christian, Big Show, and Ric Flair.
He calls out Edge for not being able to trust him when he came back, so he sent him home. The Christian honorably defended his friend before selfishly accepting Orton’s challenge for one more match. The Big Show showed him the ropes and it baffles Orton why he would rather defend Edge and Christian than keep his friendship with him. He points out Flair is family, but if he does anything to jeopardize their friendship would be a shame.
R-Truth has all of his respect, and why it will be a shame when Truth is nothing more than one more chapter in the Legend Killer’s history.
Flair comes in to get him ready to go, but Orton remains in thought.
Randy Orton vs. R-Truth
With R-Truth in the ring, Flair comes out saying he loves his championship run and how he’s had a great twenty year career. He finished by pointing out Orton won’t kick his head across the arena and just hit with an RKO.
Orton then comes out and they make their way to the ring.
When the bell rings, Truth asks Orton to hold up so he an talk to Flair, then went after Orton. After a flurry of strikes, Orton ducked Truth’s finisher and hit with an RKO.
Orton almost leaves the ring, but he turns back. Flair tries to stop him, but Orton nudged him aside and stood over Truth before backing away to punt him.
The Big Show’s music starts and the angry giant came out.
Orton tells Show to stop before he’d be forced to end Truth’s career. He says he wasn’t going to punt kick Truth, saying Truth’s name wasn’t on his list. He then asks Big Show to meet him in an unsanctioned match next Monday. Show agreed and charged into he ring, but Orton slipped out and he continued smack talking Big Show.
