WWE Raw backstage, the Big Show cut a promo on his upcoming match with Randy Orton. He reminded us what he did to Edge and Christian, and how he’s lashing out at everyone that reached out and pulled him out of his dark hole.
He said he hoped and prayed that the Legend Killer would never return, and he doesn’t know if Ric Flair turned those voices up so he couldn’t ignore them, or if Randy did it himself.
He talked about their personal nickname they had as a tag team: hammer and Chisel.
He mentioned their talks about trying to change themselves, but a tiger can’t change their spots. And Orton has a boot with the Big Show’s name on it.
Big Show vs. Randy Orton
The match started off with Big Show backing Orton into one corner, but Orton ducked his slap, But Show caught him in the other corner, and worked on Orton’s arm and body.
Big Show continued to hammer on Orton, even pulling him to his feet by his face.
Big Show threw Orton off the rope and hit with a spear. A spear!
Orton rolled out of the ring and Big Show pulled out a table. Since it’s unsanctioned, anything goes.
Andrade and Angel Garza attacked the Big Show outside of the ring and threw him into the ring stairs.
They held Big Show as Orton lined him up for the punt, but the Viking Raiders came out and took Andrade and Garza out of the equation.
Orton in control
WWE Raw returned from commercial with Orton working on the Big Show with a reverse chin lock, but Big Show powered out of it and hit with a head butt.
Orton bought himself some time with a dropkick to Big Show’s leg, but Show caught him going for a punt with a chokeslam for a near pinfall.
Orton then ducked out of the ring when Big Show was about to hit with his KO Punch.
Once Big Show had a table set up, he pulled Orton onto the apron, then tossed him in the ring one handed.
With Orton on the table. The Big Show climbed the ropes but Orton rolled out of the way of a Vader Bomb.
Orton hit the Big Show with an RKO, but Big Show kicked out.
While the Big Show collected himself, Orton pulled out a chair from under the ring, the hit big Show in the midsection and back with it.
Another chair strike to the Big Show’s back left him rolling in the ring in agony.
Orton then hit Show through the ropes in the leg then back with the chair, then dragged him into the ring for his drag in DDT.
Orton then hit with another RKO for the pin.
With his arms raised, Orton glanced at the Big Show, then waited for the giant to get up to his knees before backing away, then charged and hit with a Punt.
Orton then told the Big Show, “I told you. I told you. Just like all the others.”
This was a pretty good match even if it was predictable. Over all, the episode was pretty decent and has remained consistent with previous weeks.
