Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Live Results and Recap!
Emergence Night 2 looks like it’s going to be an awesome show with the first ever 30 minute Ironman Match for the Knockouts Championship, and EC3 will share why he stole Moose’s Championship.
Segment 1
Wrestling World Championship Eddie Edwards (c) vs. Rob Van Dam
Edwards won after a grueling match, but was attacked by Eric Young afterwards.
Young then said it will be him and Edwards next week for the Impact World Championship. So much for the pay-per-view theory.
In Wrestle House, Johnny Swinger is working to Fuji the guys out of the house so he gets the ladies. This isn’t going to end well for him.
Segment 2
Wrestler House – Johnny Swinger vs. Crazzy Steve
Swinger accidentally threw powder into Steve’s face for a Fuji, so a blindfold match ensued,
Steve won with the help of everyone, and next week Swinger has to dress like Crazzy Steve.
That’s going to be so entertaining.
Segment 3
Rhino challenged Reno Scum to a tag team match next week, and he wants Heath as his partner. #Heath4Impact.
Edwards called Young out and the two brawled before they were separated, but their match is on for next week.
Segment 4
Rohit Raju cut an awesome promo offering to give everyone a chance at the X Division title.
Locker Room Talk had the Rascalz as cohosts while Ace Austin and Madman Fulton were the guests. Austin and Fulton left after pushing the Rascalz around some.
Sami Callihan challenged RVD to a match next week.
Segment 5
EC3 cut an awesome promo about having to destory the TNA World Heavyeweight Championship is the only way he can be free, and he called Moose a false idol.
Willie Mack vs. Brian Myers
A pretty good match ended with Myers rolling Mack up and using a handful of tights to score his first Impact victory.
Segment 6
Wrestle House – Larry D vs. John E Bravo
Bravo finally stood up for his feeling and Larry beat him with two hits.
Taya then challenged Rosemary to a match next week in a winner takes all match.
Segment 7
Impact Knockouts Championship – 30 Minute Ironman Match – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Jordynn Grace
The match started out like an old school submission match as they traded holds.
No pinfalls or submissions as we headed to comemrcial
Segment 8
We returned with Purrazzo dominating the match by working on Grace’s left arm throughout this section, but still no pinfalls or submissions at commercial time.
Segment 9
There were a flurry of falls as Grace put Purrazzo to sleep for a 1-0 lead.
Purrazzo then hit Grace with her championship belt for a pinfall to even the score, then locked in the Fujiwara armbar to force Grace to tap out with seconds left.
This was apretty good show that was more promo heavy than we expected, but still really enjoyable with some old school type of matches.
