The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) entered Impact Wrestling with a flourish that was exciting and promised some fun matches in the future.
But of course some didn’t view it as a good thing.
Ace Austin is an attention seeker and needs to be the center of attention, so it’s no surprise that he turned his focus toward the newcomers.
Austin and Madman Fulton have done everything they could to torment the Good Brothers, including making their truck look like they partied in it, which resulted in Doc Gallows being arrested.

Austin’s game
Later on that night, Fulton and Auston attacked Anderson and beat him down.
Last week, Anderson and Gallows interrupted an X Division match and demanded that Austin and Fulton came out to face them.
One step ahead, Austin and Fulton responded to their challenge by appearing on the big screen and taunting them and claiming they were out of state.
Austin added that he and Fulton would see them at their choosing, which happened to be on night one of Emergence.
This is a match that we’ve been waiting to see for a couple of reasons.
For one, we love watching Gallows and Anderson in action, and it’s great to see them back in the Impact Zone again.
And second, we’ve been curious how well Ace Austin and Madman Fulton will work together as a team. They’ve show good chemistry, so this should be a fun match.
More interesting is unlike a lot of the big man, small man teams, Austin can take care of himself, so he’s not really a weak link.
In fact, they and the Good Brothers match up very well in a lot of ways.
The Good Brothers take it
It’s because they match up so well that we don’t want to see this feud end after one match.
There are a couple of ways it can go, and we think Anderson and Gallows have to win.
Austin isn’t the type to take a loss like this well, and he’ll want to try to take what he learns in this match and use it against them in the future.
Of course, there could easily be a rivalry planned between the Good Brothers and the North or Motor City Machine Guns, so it’s understandable if they move on after this match.
It’ll help keep them fresh with different teams and help push a four way rivalry for the top spot, which will lead to some awesome matches down the road and really push Impact Wrestling forward.
