Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results and Recap!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for a fun night with legends Shawn Michaels and Mickie James coming back.
Segment 1
McIntyre came out to start it off, and his empassioned promo was interupted by Retribution in the production truck.
When they were discoered by a camera man, they were messing with the controls and threatening the people there.
They forced the tech crew to unplug the show, forcing a commercial break.
Same stuff, different day.
Segment 2
They copied Smackdown’s backstage scene from Friday as McIntyre tried to rally the troops and Seth Rollins interrupted and mocked him
Looks like this is probably McIntyre’s feud after SummerSlam.
MVP and the Hurt Business came out, and it led to Apollo Crews offering if he beats Shelton Benjamin then Benjamin and Lashley have to watch SummerSlam backstage.
Segment 3
Apollo Crews vs. Shelton Benjamin
Crews pinned Benjamin after R-Truth, Akira Tozawa and ninjas distracted Benjamin.
Benjamin then took out R-Truth to win the 24/7 Championship, and MVP challenged Crews and any two people to face the Hurt Business in a 6 man tag match later on.
Segment 4
Angel Garza vs. Ivar
A decent match ended cleanly when Garza pinned Ivar, but Dawkins and Demi barnett appeard on the titantron talking about a video.
Samoa Joe then informed Zelina Vega it show how far someone will go to please someone else.
Guess we’re about to find out who poisoned Montez Ford.
Segment 5
A video showed Vega messed with Montez Ford’s drink, and the Street Profits chased them off after the reveal.
Natalya defeated Mickie James by countout while Seth Rollins came out to demand how Samoa Joe knows Rey Mysterio will be there.
Most of the cameras were focused on Rollins. Welcome back Mickie.
Segment 6
Asuka and Shayna Baszler vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks
The match started after a bit of jawing back and forth, but Nia Jaz attacked Baszler through the plexiglass and the two became entangled.
Asuka knocked Bayley and Banks out of the rign as we headed to comemrcial
Segment 7
Baszler returned after Asuka fought a long two on won match.
They came together at the end to win when Baszler locked in the Coquina Clutch on Bayley, forcing her to tap out.
Segment 8
This portion was mainly a recap of Seth Rollins and Murphy kendo sticking Dominic Mysterio last week.
Apollo crews picked RIcochet and Mistafa Ali to join him in his tag team match, and they promised Cedric Alexander he can join them next time.
Segment 9
Another promo segment where Shawn Michaels gave Drew McIntyre a pep talk, and Peyton Royce prepared to face Ruby Riott.
Baszler was spotted chatting with Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.
Segment 10
Ruby Riott vs. Peyton Royce
A good match ended like most of the others with Royce pushign Riott into Morgan to stirr trouble, before he hit Riott with her deja vu for the pin.
Segment 11
Raw Underground started early as Erik and Dolph Ziggler faced off in a good fight that Ziggler eventually won with a sleeper hold.
Rey and Dominic set a trap for Rollins and Murphey, and jumped them with kendo stick when they came to the ring to attack them.
Segment 12
In Raw Underground, Riddick Moss and Arturo Roas squared off in a pretty good fight that ended in a draw.
Tag Team Elimination Match – Apollo Crews, Ricochet, and Mustafa Ali vs. The Hurt Business
The match started quick with Lashley pinning Ali, and Benjamin pinning Ricocchet.
Crews then pinned Benjamin, and then outside the ring, Cedric Alexander rolled up Benjamin to win the 24/7 Championship.
Segment 13
Crews pinned MVP, but was then mauled by Lashley, who pinned Crews for the win.
Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke were chatting with Shane McMahon.
Segment 14
24/7 Championship – Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Akira Tozawa
Alexander won a short, but fun match to retain his new championship.
Benjamin then hit Alexander with Pay Dirt to win the championship.
Marina Shafi had an impressive Raw Underground debut.
Nia Jax then shoved her out of the ring, causing Baszler to challenge her.
Jax ran off when the bell rang.
Segment 15
Montez Ford vs. Andrade
Ford won a decent match after Vega and Bianca Belair distracted Andrade.
Segment 16
Michaels gave an empassionaed speech and promised Orton will meet his end with a Claymore or Sweet Chin Music at SummerSlam.
Orton then RKOd and Punted Michaels.
McIntyre ran tot the ring and went after Orton, but Orton hit him with an RKO and slithered out as the show ended.

It was a better show than the last couple of weeks, and the matches were faster paced if not as good.
