We returned to the arena for a match we’ve been waiting for.
Randy Orton vs. Keith Lee
The match started with a lockup and Lee backed Orton into a corner, and Orton locked him into a side headlock instead of breaking.
Lee stood and lifted Orton off his feet before he threw Orton into the ropes.
After a leapfrog, Lee hit with a shoulder block that knocked Orton into the corner where he collected himself.
Orton then suckered Lee in with a test of strength challenge and hit with a knee, but Lee caught Orton’s punch and nearly dropped him to his knees.
Lee then hit with a belly-to-belly suplex that sent Orton out of the ring.
Lee followed him and picked Orton up to drive him into the ring post, but Orton slipped off his shoulder and Lee hit the ring post.
Back in the ring, Orton followed his advantage with the Orton Stomp and went for a pinfall, but Lee threw him off hard enough that Orton landed on his feet.
Not to be deterred, Orton Locked in a sleeper hold, but Lee stood up and rammed Orton into the turnbuckle, and followed it up with a splash.
Lee then hit with a cross body off the ropes and followed it with a shoulder block that sent Orton out of the ring.
This looked like a botch or was called wrong as Orton looked to be going for the RKO.
After throwing Orton into the ring, Lee took a kick to the chest, and Orton hit with his draper DDT.
Orton readied himself to finish the match, but Drew McIntyre pulled Orton out of the ring and threw Orton into the barrier twice before Orton escaped over the barricade and to the back.
McIntyre rolled into the ring, which Lee had vacated, and stood victorious for the moment.
The match ended in disqualification.

Seriously, does anyone not expect Reigns to win the Universal Championship at Payback? We’re back to the same old, same old except Reigns is a heel and the Fiend is a face. Go figure.
We switched backstage where McIntyre was approached for an interview and he said he’s happy for his friend, Keith Lee, but he doesn’t need anyone fighting his battles.
He started to say something about Orton to the camera when Orton attacked him from behind and hit him with another Punt.
After the commercial, another recap on Orton’s attack on McIntyre played, and was followed by Charly Caruso standing outside the trainer’s room.
She said it looks like McIntyre suffered a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain that could be career ending.
WWE Raw Results thinks this looks like the perfect excuse to give McIntyre off a couple of weeks and allow Keith Lee to start his climb to the top.
