WWE Raw Results switched once more to the backstage where Nia Jax was stopped by Sarah, who asked what was she doing there due to her being suspended.
Jax said the keyword is “was” and she said all she had to do was go to the official and… apologize.
She then told Sara to get her mind out of the gutter and asked what she thought she was going to say.
Shayna Baszler said she was probably going to say something to get suspended.
They then traded insults including fat and ugly remarks (from Baszler) to a Addams family reject (From Nia Jax) before Baszler headed out to her match against Bayley.
Back at the ring, Bayley and Sasha Banks came out in a very subdued mood. There’s definitely some tension there.
After Baszler came out, Nia Jax came out right before the commercial break. Yep, there won’t be a problem there.
Bayley vs. Shayna Baszler
They circled each other to start off, and Baszler wasted no time in putting a wristlock on Bayley before Bayley pulled away and ran to the ropes.
Baszler locked Bayley in another wrist lock, and when Bayley tried to take out Baszler’s legs, she easily countered and continued to work on Bayley’s right arm.
Baszler then kicked her out of the ring with ease. Bayley’s really missing something at the moment.
Bayley hit with a kick to the midsection, an elbow to the back of the head, and a couple of snapmares into a headlock.
Baszler threw Baykey off the ropes, and dropped her with a pair of forearms before hitting her with a knee strike.
Bayley tried a roll up pin, but Baszler countered it into a triangle lock that Baszler only broke when Banks started to slip into the ring.
Bayley hit Baszler from behind, then landed a few kicks in the corner before hitting with a suplex and a near pinfall.
Bayley talked her usual smack as she kicked Baszler, then hit with a sliding elbow before another pin attempt.
Baszler fought back with some body blows, but Bayley sidestepped her charge and sent Baszler head first through the ropes and to the floor.
Jaz grabbed Baszler’s foot as she tried to crawl into the rign and pulled her out, causing the ref to disqualify Bayley.
Baszler fought back, but Jax threw her back first into the ring apron then threw her into the ring.
Bayley and Banks kept talking smack, urging Jax on, but Jax turned her attention to them.
Baszler and Jax then climbed out of the ring together and forced Banks and Bayley to back down. We may have out women’s tag team match for Payback.
This could be a fun one WWE Raw Results don’t want to miss.
