After Styles took care of a Retribution member, he saw Jeff standing with his back to him, so Styles kicked hi right knee from behind.
Styles then left the ring area.
Backstage, Styles was approached about what he did, and Styles said he show urgency to get rid of Retribution, and had Jeff shown the same urgency, he would’ve been in the ring.
Styles added Jeff’s opportunity feels like Jeff’s career — he wasted it.
Styles then approached the Golden Role Models (Bayley and Sasha Banks) and they shared a high title clap with the belts.
Mandy Rose offers a truce
We returned backstage to Kayla checking on Mandy Rose.
Mandy said she doesn’t know because it’s been a rough week, but she refuses to believe there’s nothing good in Sonya Deville anymore.
She then spoke to Deville through the camera, saying she knows the real Deville is in there somewhere, and she chooses to see the good in Deville.
She doesn’t know what Deville’s thinking going into SummerSlam, but she wants to move on and go back to the way things were.
This is obviously in response to the events of this past week when Sonya Deville was stalked and luckily got away when the person entered her house.
Having her play a stalker may be at an end.
