At All Out, we saw new AEW Tag Team Champions crowned as FTR defeated Hangman Page & Kenny Omega. This was an epic match, second only to Hangman Page & Kenny Omega vs. Young Bucks from earlier this year. Tonight, they are set to start Dynamite by celebrating this massive win in great fashion deserving of the best tag team in the world.
FTR Run Down The Men They’ve Put Down
Surrounded by most of the tag team division, FTR & Tully Blanchard would take the ring. They’re the new Tag Team Champions, and everyone should fear them. The 225 day reign would be ended after a thirty one minute war in the summer heat, and FTR has a claim to be called the best tag team in the world after that one. Hangman Page & Kenny Omega took out everyone that faced them, except FTR.
AEW has the best tag team division in the world, and FTR is undefeated. They had to fight hard to get all their wins, take SCU for example? If they were in their prime twenty years ago? They would have put up a great fight! Private Party? They’re there too. Billy Gunn might be a hall of famer, but him and his son better stay away from FTR if they know whats best for them.
Jurassic Express Are First In Line To Face The Champs, But Need To Earn A Title Shot
Jurassic Express have a shot against FTR next week, and maybe if they can beat FTR they’ll get a title shot. Luchasarus would take the ring, followed by Marko Stunt. Wheeler would throw napkins in the face of Luchasarus, and FTR would flee the ring. Stunt would pour ice over their heads, and this ended their celebration.
FTR successfully pissed off the rest of the tag team division, and Austin Gunn got a slice of cake, a great night for everyone involved.
Next week, Jungle Boy & Luchasarus face FTR in that non-title match, perhaps their biggest match since joining AEW.
