Impact Wrestling Preview (9/22) – Jordynn Grace vs. Tenille Dashwood (w/Kaleb)

Nothing like a return to cause some mayhem in the Impact Zone, and that’s what Tenille Dashwood has done since returning to Impact Wrestling from her hiatus.

She’s one of the best wrestlers around, and she’s stepping into an already stacked Knockouts division that hasn’t been too welcoming as yet.

Making an entrance

Of course, the best entrance to make is the one that everyone will remember, so crashing Deonna Purrazzo’s black tie affair was the perfect time.

No one expected her, especially when she interrupted things following her fellow Knockout and former Knockouts Champion, Jordynn Grace.

Needless to say, Grace didn’t expect this, but she’s not one to back down from a challenge of insult, and neither is Dashwood.

It was only the start, but it’s been building the last couple of weeks as Dashwood has been too busy being photographed by Kaleb (Caleb Konley aka Suicide) to “show up to work.”

This has enraged Grace, and now we finally get to see them step into the ring following all the teasing.

Welcome back

While we’re excited to see Tenille Dashwood return, we have to admit we love the creative direction they took by having her interrupt Grace, who interrupted Purrazzo.

By doing this, they hit pause in Grace and Purrazzo’s feud so the Virtuosa can focus on Kylie Rae in another awesome feud.

So, this means we’re going to get some fun matches over the next few weeks, and it all starts with this one.

Normally, we’d pick Jordynn Grace to win simply because she is nearly unstoppable when she’s angry and focused, but there’s an old unspoken rule that a wrestler wins their debut.

How serious or true this is depends on who you talk to, and Impact hasn’t shied away from having a newcomer lose their first match lately.

Of course, Dashwood isn’t really a newcomer as she was only gone for a couple of months, so her losing is highly possible.

Both Dashwood and Grace need a victory, which we think will lead to an amazing match. More than this, we’re interested to see where they go with this storyline.

We expect it to last until Bound for Glory pay-per-view, but we could be wrong. One thing we are sure of is that we can see this match going either way on Impact Wrestling, and that’s what really makes it exciting.

Who do you think will win? Flip a coin, we don’t really see a no wrong answer for Impact Wrestling here.
