For weeks now, Shotzi Blackheart would terrorize Robert Stone with her tank, having run him over three times now. Tonight, he found the tank backstage and was ready to take a pole to it. Blackheart was ready to stop him from getting revenge on her precious tank, and things would go south in a hurry.
Robert Stone Brand Gets Routed
Just before Stone could swing for the fences, Blackheart would pop up and ask him what he was doing. He’d try to hide the pipe, but get punched in the face. Aliyah would burst in to save her manager, and they’d roll through the curtain into the next section of Full Sail.
In there, NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai would be in the middle of a photoshoot, getting knocked down by Aliyah. She’d quickly try to apologize to Shirai, but be sent to the ring all the same. Once she could get back to her feet, she was stuck between Shirai & Blackheart, who’d ping pong her with strikes.
Robert Stone tried to make the save, and be punched out of the sky by Blackheart. Aliyah took a huge Butterfly Backbreaker, and suddenly both members of Robert Stone Brand were in perfect position. They would take a moonsault and senton, with Blackheart & Shirai standing tall.
Shotzi Blackheart vs. Io Shirai For The NXT Women’s Championship Coming Soon?
After sending Robert Stone Brand packing, Blackheart would pick up the NXT Women’s Championship and hand it to Shirai, taking a moment too long to admire it. Shirai would say that while she likes Shotzi, she will still kick her ass if she gets in her way as a challenger.
Blackheart has been a rising star in NXT, and as a feud between Takeovers to give Shirai another title defense? It’s hard to not see NXT going for this match. Even with Blackheart not being the most polished name in NXT, her fire is sure to make for a fun match against someone like Shirai especially.
