WWE Smackdown Results enjoyed a brief recap of Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura challenging the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) to a title for title match on the next Raw.
The Street Profits appeared in their dressing room, uninvited.
When Nakamura asked why there were there, Dawkins said they were just checking out the champions’ room.
Cesaro reminded them they have a match next, and Dawkins said they just came for an update on their champion vs. champion match on Raw.
Of course, they were told not to touch anything, so Dawkins and Ford did just that, diving into the popcorn.
They showed an interview backstage from earlier where Kalisto claimed he’s Lucha House Party’s leader, and Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik didn’t look too happy.
Before the match, Jeff was being examined in the trainer’s room when Zayn came in mocking him and saying it was fluids he needed.
Jeff attacked him and pounded away as we headed to commercial.
Cesaro and Shinuke Nakamura vs. Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Gran Metalik)
This is going to be fast paced, so ear with us.
Cesaro and Metalik locked up to start, and Cesaro hit with a couple of knees, but Metlaik dodged his charge and it a round the world hurricanrana and another hurricanrana of the ropes..
Kalisto hit with a splash off of Metalik’s shoulders for a near pinfal.
Kalisto was going to go off the ropes, but Nakamua stepped in his way and Cesaro hit him from behind.
Nakamura hit with a knee, then choked Kalisto out in their corner before Cesaro came in and hit with an uppercut and had a near pinfall.
Cesaro locked in a neck hold, but Kalisto tried to fight out of it. Cesaro overpowered him and hit with a slam and leg drop for a near pinfall.
Nakamura laid Kalisto across the top rope and hit with a running knee. Cesaro held Kalisto for Nakamura to hit with a stomp, then Cesaro hit with a gut wrench suplex.
The Street Profits appeared on the titantron having a party with every one in Cesaro and Nakamura’s champions lounge.
While distracted, Kalisto rolled Cesaro up for the pin.
We returned to the Street Profit’s backstage party as the Lucha House Party joined in to celebrate their win.
