WWE Smackdown Results returned from commercial break as the match started, and Styles knocked Zayn out of the ring, then he and Hardy exchanged blows.
Hardy hit an inverted atomic drop, then a snap neckbreaker before turning his attention to Zayn and bounced his head off a couple of turnbuckles.
Zayn tried to fight back, but Hardy stopped him with an inverted atomic drop, double leg drop, and a dropkick, but Style then stomped Hardy while Zayn rolled out of the ring
Styles focuses on Hardy’s left leg and hit with a backbreaker, then hit with a baseball slide on Zayn, sending him into the announcer’s desk.
Jeff fought off Styles, but Styles caught his kick attempt and threw him over the top rope.
Outside the ring, Styles bounced Hardy off the announce table, then Zayn hit him from behind and threw him into the barricade before sending Styles into the ring.
Zayn kept hammering on Styles, then hit with a clothesline off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Zayn then kicked Hardy off the apron, but paused to look at the belts hanging above, giving Styles the chance to drive him into the corner, and then hit with a snapmare and reverse chin lock.
Styles used Zayn’s head to knock Hardy off the ring apron by driving him into Hardy’s midsection, and hit Zayn with a snapmare and chinlock again.
Zayn got to his feet, but this time Hardy sidestepped Styles
Attempt to use Zayn as a battering ram, and leveled Styles with a series of attacks, then Hardy hit both with a dropkick.
Hardy hit with a back body drop on Zayn out of the corner, and then used Zayn as a step stool for Poetry in Motion on Styles.
Hardy climbed to the top rope, but Zayn shoved him off and Hardy hit the floor hard.
Zayn hit Hardy with a couple of punches before Styles took Zayn out with a crossbody over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Styles sends a message
Back from commercial, Zayn had Style in the corner for a superplex, and fought off Hardy when he tried a double powerbomb.
Styles then slipped under Zayn and puled him off the top rope, causing Zayn’s head to hit the turnbuckle.
Styles was met with a reverse elbow by Hardy, and then Zayn ate a kick before Hardy hit them both with a Whisper in the Wind.
All three were down, trying to get to their feet, which they do at the same time. All three exchanged blows in the ring before Hardy hit Styles with a step up kick.
Zayn his Hardy with a Helluva Kick, then on Styles, but Styles hit a step up kick, sending all three back to the mat.
Styles was up first and headed to the apron, where he hung up Hardy, and then caught Zayn with an elbow.
Zayn ducked a Phenomenal Forearm that took out Hardy. Zayn then threw Styles out for the ring and pinned Hardy for the win.
Not pleased Styles took out Zayn with a ladder, and then took a run and hit Hardy n the head with the ladder, knocking Hardy to the floor.
Styles then grabbed another ladder after looking at the belts, and se the ladder up to climb and collect the belts, giving us a glimpse of what could happen this Sunday.
WWE Smackdown Results feels confident to call this the match of the night this early. Let’s see if the rest can top it.
