After finding the old TNA World Heavyweight Championship laying around, Moose decided to use it to build himself up on Impact Wrestling.
He defended it each week against TNA originals (those that started with the company when it was TNA), and he had an impressive list of victories and started to look like he would revitalize the championship.
Then EC3 happened.
After a couple of weeks of tormenting Moose, EC3 finally took the title and has led Moose on a fun little adventure to get the title back.

Control the narrative
EC3 has said that he needs to control his narrative (something other promotions are borrowing like MJF did his State of the Business gimmick), and to do that, he needs to destroy his TNA past.
For him that involves the championship that he held, which is why Moose has become his target.
At Victory Road, EC3 lured Moose to a small outside shrine he made for the title and then attacked Moose from behind.
He informed a semi-conscious Moose, and us, that tonight he’ll burn the belt, whipping it’s memory from existence.
There’s little doubt that EC3 will follow through with his plan in one way or another, but how will Moose respond?
Defending the title breathed new life into Moose and he became dominant, and in many ways, the belt now defines him as it does EC3.
He’ll risk everything to save it, but will he make it in time?
Confrontation
We expect Moose to finally get his hands on EC3 but he may be too late to stop EC3 from destroying the belt.
This will mark a turning point in the storyline as Moose will become enraged and EC3 will become the hunted.
If Impact Wrestling follows this line, we could see a phenomenal match between the two at Bound For Glory — possibly even a steel cage or other brutal type of match.
Of course, if the belt isn’t destroyed and Moose gets it back, EC3 will continue his push to rid the world of its memory but Moose will be ready for him this time.
Once again, we think this will culminate at Bound For Glory as the two will feud back and forth over the next few weeks, building for their match.
The sad part about this is we’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to see them face off in the ring.
It’s a cruel tease, but one we think will really pay off. What do you think will happen? Let us know in the comments below.
