The week of season premieres continues tonight, as the new look Raw gets its first show. It promises to be a hard-hitting evening of action in the WWE, with a number of segments already announced on social media over the last couple of days. But, what can we expect to see during the season premiere of Raw this evening?
WWE Raw: Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House
Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend made his debut on Raw last week, with a brilliant moment to end the second night of the draft. Andrade and Zelina Vega were interrupted at the end of the show where they were attacked by Alexa Bliss and The Fiend. Investment in Bliss and The Fiend continues to grow with every passing week and it will be fascinating to see what happens next. Both superstars could be in attendance for the Firefly Fun House tonight, which could indicate the superstars that the two of them could have their sights set on now that they are on Raw.
WWE Raw: Asuka Defends Women’s Championship
There will also be a championship match on Raw this evening, as Lana takes on Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship. Lana earned the right to challenge for the title during Raw last week as she won a battle royal. She last eliminated Natalya to earn the title shot, which came just after Natalya told Lana that their friendship, and tag-team was no more. It’s unlikely that Lana will be walking out with the title tonight, but we could see a meaningful feud get underway between Lana and Natalya.
WWE Raw: Keith Lee vs Braun Strowman
Tonight’s episode of Raw will also see a re-match between two of the biggest superstars on the red brand, as Keith Lee will battle Braun Strowman in an unsanctioned match. These two superstars did face off a couple of weeks back in a hard hitting match, and it will be interesting to see which of the two superstars gets the rub from this match. There could also be a screwy finish, which should be discounted.
WWE Raw: Elias Returns To Raw
Elias returned to Raw last week as he attacked Jeff Hardy from behind to give AJ Styles the win on his first night back on Raw. Elias stormed the ring and hit Hardy over the back with his guitar. He has promised an unforgettable concert during Raw tonight, which could be used to further the feud between himself and Hardy.
