The last WWE Raw before the 2020 WWE Draft continues to play it close to the vest in what’s going to be on the show, and it’s expected given we’re about to have a shift in the roster.
They don’t want to give away too much on who is going where, so the brand invitational is being used to set up a new feud as Kevin Owens invited “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt” to appear on the Kevin Owens Show.
The Kevin Owens Show featuring Bray Wyatt
In his quest to understand Aleister Black’s recent turn, Kevin Owens returned to Smackdown to interview Alexa Bliss for an episode of the Kevin Owens Show.
Things didn’t go as he’d planned or hoped as the Fiend appeared and attacked him.
Owens being Owens, he’s invited Bray Wyatt to appear on Raw’s Kevin Owens Show.
This could be interesting as Owens won’t hesitate to call out Wyatt, and we expect Wyatt to appear.
We expect Wyatt to appear through an episode of the Firefly Fun House and infuriate Owens and set him up to be attacked by Aleister Black.
This could be interesting since Owens and Wyatt really never interacted before, so it’s a fresh feud opportunity, meaning one of them is switching shows.
If Black attacks Owens, could be become the newest member of the Wyatt Family?
That brings up the question as to whether Owen, Black, and Zelina Vega (Black’s real life wife) will be drafted by Smackdown, or will the Fiend and Alexa Bliss head to WWE Raw?
We definitely think one group is moving.
Drew McIntyre and the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode
This will continue McIntyre’s feud with Orton and finally start one between the Street Profits and Ziggler and Roode.
It’s a cool two-for-one deal that should be a really good match.
While it’s easy to look at this as a time eater on a three hour show that’s trying to coast into the draft, it’s good to see some thought was put into it.
In that regard, it appears that having the Street Profits join the Legends last week even for the two seconds we saw them will give them an excuse to be in this match.
It’s a backdoor way to get the feud going, but we’re sure it’s going to lead to good things down the road.
As for the winner of this match, we expect Dawkins and Ford to defeat Ziggler and Roode while Orton and McIntyre are having their own fight or stare down outside the ring.
