WWE Raw Results came back and Charly was backstage with Drew McIntyre, and she asked him about his match against Randy Orton and asked how his lack of experience in the Hell in a Cell will play out.
McIntyre took over the mic and said that since he med Orton he’s always known he was the most selfish, most sadistic, and evil person in the WWE.
He added that he thought locking him in the ambulance would be the end of it, and he now realizes that Orton knows he has a temper problem and he fell into Orton’s trap.
He understands that Orton would have a massive advantage against any other wrestler, but McIntyre isn’t any other superstar.
He added that Orton doesn’t deserve and respect, and he’ll put Orton through hell to keep the WWE Championship.
He closed it off that Orton shouldn’t be surprised if he shows up during Orton’s interview later tonight.
Raw Women’s Championship Asuka (c) vs. Lana
They started with Asuka locking in a side headlock, then running Lana over with a shoulder block off the ropes.
Asuka and Lana countered each other on the mat following an arm drag take down attempt by Asuka.
Asuka nearly locked in the Asuka Lock, but Lana managed to reach the ropes with her legs to break the hold.
Lana hit with a kick, but Asuka dodged the next couple and Lana rolled her up for a near pinfall.
Lana then hit with a few more kicks and another pin attempt, before hitting Asuka with a few more kicks.
Asuka countered her charge with an elbow and then a kick to halt Lana’s momentum.
They exchanged forearms, and Lana fought out of a reverse suplex attempt and attempted a roll up that Asuka countered into an Asuka Lock for the win.
Nia Jax’s music started, but Jax came into the ring from the back and knocked Asuka out.
Shayna Baszler appeared and they dragged Lana onto the floor and Jax put her through the announce table with a Samoan drop for the fifth time.
In the ring, Baszler tried to slap on the Coquina Clutch, but Asuka fought out of it and caught Baszler with a kick and then a hip attack, knocking Baszler to the floor before she headed up the ramp.
The only surprise here was the length of the match, and WWE Raw Results thinks they’re going to use the Raw Women’s Championship to break up Baszler and Jaz.
