WWE Raw Results are curious what to expect when backstage. the Street Profits were cutting a promo for their main event 6 man match.
Dawkins said they don’t need night vision goggles to see what happened, and they explained what each of the Legends gave them advice wise, concluding with their customary “We want the smoke!”
McIntyre was next to them looking amused, and said he was going to kick the crap out of Orton.
This should be a good match.
MVP (w/Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) vs. Mustafa Ali
Ali danced around MVP, and MVP hit with a kick after they locked up.
MVP followed it with a slam and knee drop for a near pinfall. MVP then beat on Ali before throwing him into the corner and hitting with a clothesline before going for a pin attempt.
MVP was definitely confident here.
Another right to Ali sent him into the ropes, and MVP sent him off the rope, but Ali ducked a clothesline and hit with a dropkick, sending MVP to the floor.
All three Hurt Business members entered the ring and surrounded Ali in a corner, but the lights flickered and Retribution rushed out and surrounded the ring.
MVP asked Ali if he was with them to form a united front or not, and Ali said he’d join them and MVP motioned him over and Ali joined them back to back.
And the leader is…
Before anyone attacked, Ali slipped out of the ring and approached T-Bar and Mace.
A threatening stare down ensued and MVP applauded and smiled at Ali’s gumption.
Ali slowly turned to face the ring and smiled, then ordered Retribution to get them.
The braw started but the Hurt Business was overwhelmed by the numbers and were eventually beaten down.
Lashley lasted the longest, but even he was eventually overwhelmed.
With the Hurt Business laid waste, Ali slowly walked into the ring and stood in the center. Retribution lined up behind him and he raised his hand with an open palm, then closed it in a fist.
It’s about time they did something with this, and we’re guessing this will tie in the rumors of Ali being the hacker to set this all up.
If it is, we can’t help but wonder how much of it was accidental given it was widely believed they needed a champion or top name heading the faction.
Still, WWE Raw Results are a huge fan of Ali, so we’re good with how this worked out. What do you think of it?
