This should be an interesting show with the WWE Draft this coming Friday (10/9) on WWE Smackdown.
It’ll be interesting to see who goes where, and how long it takes the WWE to implement a new rule after the draft doesn’t pan out again.
But until then, let’s enjoy he action!
The show started backstage with Randy Orton in the Legend’s Lounge saying how he didn’t leave Clash of Champions with the WWE Championship, but in an ambulance.
He said he remembered the match, like Big Show chokeslamming him through the announce table, being ambushed by Christian, Shawn Michaels superkicking him, and finally Drew McIntyre kicking him.
Not to mention he remembered Ric Flair driving the ambulance.
He added that 24 hours later when McIntyre and the Legends in the ring made him sick. And then they laughed and played poker while enjoying their victory.
Every action deserves an equal and opposite reaction, and that came in a much needed re-introduction to the Legend Killer.
He guaranteed all four of the Legends felt everything he felt when the ambulance doors closed on him.
He added that he treated himself to a front row seat, pointing out how the Big Show tried by swinging both his hands, holding to connect with something before Orton took out both his hands.
He said how he told Christian to say hi to Edge, and then took the chair Michaels grabbed away from him before taking him away.
Flair was scrambling at the door to try to get out.
McIntyre’s had enough
Orton said that the debt paid to him isn’t yet in full and won’t be until he’s WWWE Champion again, saying it’s not over until he says it’s over.
Drew McIntyre still has “Hell to pay.”
He turned his attention to the camera to speak to McIntyre, and said how McIntyre keeps telling everyone he wants to cement his legacy.
Orton said his legacy will be cemented if he survives one more championship match in Hell in a Cell.
McIntyre then burst into the room Orton was cutting his promo in, and Orton grabbed his chair, ready for a confrontation.
McIntyre grabbed Orton by the chair and shoved Orton into the wall, then pounded on him.
McIntyre demanded to know what Orton knows about hell when officials came in and broke it up.
Orton scrambled out of the room as we headed to commercial.
