Backstage, WWE Raw Results were interested when Murphy came across Aalyah and he apologized. She said it’s not him she’s worried about, it’s Seth.
She asked if he was still considering apologizing to him, and he answered that he doesn’t know.
Ali Challenges MVP
Backstage, MVP, Benjamin, and Lashley were heading to their locker room complaining that kids never listen when they were approached by Ali.
Ali challenged MVP for later in the night, and said he’s going out there alone tonight and he’s going to start with Benjamin and finish with Lashley. Lashley was going to go after him, but MVP stopped him, saying it was cute.
Apology time
Seth Rollins came out as his 10 pm deadline for Murphy to apologize was minutes away.
Rollins started it off by calling out Murphy as the time has come for him to apologize to his messiah.
Murphy came out slowly, pensive.
Once Murphy was int eh ring, Rollins prodded him by saying he had a full hour to think it over and all Murphy has to do is apologize and they can move forward.
Murphy remained quiet, and Rollins prodded him some more about apologizing so they can move forward.
Murphy remained silent, and Rollins told him he doesn’t want to go down this road after he saw what happens to people that stand in the way of the greater good.
Rollins added that he plucked him from obscurity and saved his career.
Rollins‘ patience was running short when Murphy kept quiet, and started demanding an apology and threatened to break him.
Murphy responded by spearing Rollins and the two beat on each other even after Rollins slipped out of the ring.
After they went over the announce table, Rollins threw Murphy into the barricade, and Murphy threw him into the ring apron.
Rollins grabbed a kendo stick but Murphy took it from him and proceeded to beat on Rollins with it, chasing him into the ring while beating him and demanding for Rollins to apologize to Aalyah.
Rollins begged him to stop and called for Aalyah, and Murphy hit him again.
Rollins apologized and said he didn’t mean to bring her into this and removed his jacket and cowered on the ring, begging for murphy to stop.
Murphy dropped the kendo stick, and Rollins jumped on him and went for his eyes with his thumbs, then beat Murphy with the kendo stick.
Rollins continued beating him until the kendo stick broke, then headed out of the ring for a steel chaie, but Aalyah was in the ring with Murphy asking Rollins to stop.
Dominik then came out and pulled his sister from Murphy. Rey and his wife came out, too and Rollins watched from outside the ring before heading up the ramp.
Dominik kept asking his sister if she was serious, and then they guided her out of the rung.
Rollins watched them leave from a backstage monitor. Dominik kept lecturing her about her decisions the whole way.
