WWE Smackdown Preview has been waiting for this match as it’ll put two bulls head to head in a brutally physical match and we think they’ll pull it off beautifully.
Assuming they’re allowed to.
Big E has been comping at the bit to get a chance at Sheamus, and it’s finally coming.
This is the second of Sheamus’ feuds to end with a match like this in recent memory (His Bar Fight with Jeff Hardy being the other) and it’s oddly fitting even if it is a gimmick match.
Unfortunately, or fortunately defending on how WWE Smackdown Preview looks at this, Sheamus will probably lose this since he’s one of the best at putting others over at the moment.
Honestly, Big E needs to win to continue his singles run, but there could be a hiccup as there’s a chance we could see a surprise appearance tonight.
Kofi Kingston’s return
Big E’s singles run has come due to Kofi Kingston’s storyline injury. While in reality, it’s been reported that Kingston is spending time with his family, this is around the time he’s supposed to return (6-8 weeks).
What will that mean? Well, we have a thought on that.
One is he’ll come back and celebrate with Big E, allowing him to win the match on his own, which could tease one of them being drafted by Raw and the New Day breaking up.
This seems unlikely given the New Day reportedly have some creative control in their contracts.
It makes sense for Kingston to have a surprise return on draft night to help give the show a boost.
The Fiend vs. Kevin Owens
Owens has become the WWE’s crusading good tough guy that won’t hesitate to step into a fight to right a wrong.
It’s a cool character and Owens has been selling it beautifully, but it’s also attracted the attention of the darker souls in the WWE.
While Aleister Black turning on him can be attributed to Black being frustrated and angry at becoming involved with the Mysterios and Rollins feud, the Fiend is a different matter.
This is something Owens brought on himself by dipping into what changed Alexa Bliss.
So, the Fiend attacked him and Wyatt mocked him.
And now the Fiend will destroy him.
Well, maybe not destroy. Not yet, anyway, but we do expect this to be the next feud to culminate in Hell in a Cell since Owens never walks away from a fight after one loss.
This means that Owens or Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss will be switching shows in the draft. At least, that’s WWE Smackdown Preview’s thinking.
Should be interesting to see what happens tonight. Who do you think will win? Let us know in the comments below.
