Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
This should be an interesting night with the WWE Draft happening next week, so get ready to buckle up.
The night starts off with a quick recap of Roman Reigns’ brutal victory over Jey Uso at Clash of champions and Jimmy Uso acknowledging him as their tribal chief.
And on cue, Roman Reigns’ music started and he came out to be christened, er, crowned tribal chief tonight.
Paul Heyman started it off by saying he’s a little bit nervous because he’s known Reigns and his family since the day he was born, and Heyman and Reigns’ family have looked forward to this moment.
Apparently, this was always destined to happen, and now we’re all set to declare Roman Reigns as the tribal chief of his family, WWE Smackdown, the WWE, and the entire WWE Universe.
This is why it’s important to Reigns to be the undisputed Universal Champion.
It’s getting deep.
For the family
Heyman started running down the family line when Reigns demanded the microphone.
Reigns said he doesn’t want to be called the tribal chief because he (Jey Uso) didn’t acknowledge him as the tribal chief while his brother Jimmy did.
He then demanded Jey come out.
So, Jey did but with a lot less vigor for obvious reasons.
Once in the ring, Jey stood across from Reigns and said “I don’t know you. You’re supposed ot be my cousin, my blood, my family?”
He added that at Clash of Champions, Reigns showed his true colors, but so did her.
He added that he came to the match ready to go to war, and if Jimmy hadn’t thrown the towel in, the Universal Championship would be his.
Reigns may have broken him physically, but he didn’t break his spirit.
Reigns then asked if Jey thought if he was proud of what he did, and added that it was the worst night of his career and life.
He claimed he was trying to do Jey a favor and help him. All he wanted to do was put him in the main event. He just wanted to give him a payday.
Reigns added that he loves him more than his brother does.
All Reigns wanted to do was raise him up, and all Jey had to do was acknowledge him as the tribal chief.
Of course, he added that it’s his birthright and he had to work his tail off all the way.
He just wanted to represent their family to the fullest, but Jey disrespected him, embarrassed him and their family, and broke Reigns’ heart.
Reigns commented that Jey couldn’t look him in the eyes, choosing to instead focus on the belt.
Reigns offered him another shot at Hell in a Cell.
Reigns said that match will have the highest stakes that any match as ever had in WWE History. Reigns then embraced him and told him if he was him, he wouldn’t accept the challenge.
As Reigns headed up the ramp, Jey told him that whatever the stakes are, Reigns is on.
A pretty good way to start off in WWE Smackdown Results opinions.
