Even though Smackdown did have some controversy around it. There is no doubt that the story between Roman Reigns and the Usos is one of the best storylines on WWE in a while. It has now been reported by Ringside News that Bruce Prichard, the usual Executive Director wasn’t at Smackdown. This was due to him being overworked with running both Raw and Smackdown.
It seems like Triple H was brought in to take the reigns. With him having big influences on the Buddy Murphy and Aalyah segments and the Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan segment. These being the biggest segments in Smackdown. Even though the Murphy and Aalyah segment is being criticized. The Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan segment is being massively praised by fans.
Could this be one of the biggest reasons why Smackdown is currently the best show?
Triple H might have been a bigger part than we originally thought with him working behind the scenes in Smackdown. It was only being reported that he was part of the latest show. There’s nothing saying that he could have been behind the scenes before the latest show. Even though some segments are doing well. There is no denying that Smackdown has started improving lately.
Raw could benefit from this
Looking at Smackdown compared to Raw now. There is a massive difference in quality. The fact that Smackdown has raised higher than Raw. Maybe Triple H should be part of the Raw. As the segments there are lacking in enjoyable storylines. Randy Orton as the champion which is making the show feel like we are watching the same thing every week.
With the Drew and Randy feud going on for 3 months and headlining multiple PPVs. It’s starting to make the show feel very boring. If Triple H could do the same for what he has been doing for Smackdown. We could see three fantastic shows, all influenced by Triple H.
