Another episode of Monday Night Raw takes place tonight, and there could be some shocks in store for fans. The biggest issue that fans will be hoping to be addressed will be the next challenger for the WWE Championship.
Randy Orton’s reign has started with confusion, as there appears to be two superstars vying for an opportunity at the viper, and we could see which superstar earns that opportunity this week. Also, there are already a number of other matches announced that will take place on Raw this evening.
WWE News: Who Challenges Randy Orton?
The biggest question that is being asked by the WWE Universe is who challenges Orton next. The Viper won the WWE Championship at the recent Hell in a Cell PPV, and already both The Fiend and Drew McIntyre have emerged as potential contenders for the championship. Last week’s show ended with Orton running away from The Fiend to get into a battle with McIntyre, which could mean that the viper may be opting for a re-match against the Scot rather than a showdown with his old nemesis Bray Wyatt.
There is also the interesting factor that Orton will be taking on Roman Reigns at the upcoming Survivor Series, which means that we could see Reigns appear on Raw at some point soon to come to blows with Orton. But, could that happen tonight?
WWE News: Announced Matches
There have been a number of matches already announced for Raw tonight. One of those will open the show, as Jeff Hardy will be taking on Elias in a ‘Guitar on a Pole match’. We aren’t exactly sure what this type of match is, but it will probably have something to do with getting the guitar and beating your opponent with it to win the match. Elias’ return hasn’t exactly been as big as many had hoped, but this should be an enjoyable match.
The New Day will be back in action on Raw tonight, as they take on The Hurt Business. These two tag teams are undoubtedly the best on the red brand, and will likely be contesting a championship match at some point in the near future. However, tonight’s bout will be a non-title affair, but regardless it will be a chance to see how well these two teams can work against each other. There is also a women’s tag team match scheduled between Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke and Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
