WWE NXT Preview For 11/11/2020 [Kings of NXT Defend Their Gold, Johnny Gargano Defends North American Championship]

It’s time for another installment of WWE NXT, and it’s going to be another great night. We have two big title matches including Johnny Gargano defending his NXT North American Championship, some action from the NXT Women’s Division, and so much more. Let’s break down what WWE has in the works.

Johnny Gargano Must Break The Streak

While he’s among the best performers in NXT history, Johnny Gargano has an issue. He’s never been able to successfully defend a singles championship. During his first run as NXT North American Champion, he beat Ricochet for the title, and lost it to Velveteen Dream in the first defense. With the NXT Championship, he won the vacant title in a match with Adam Cole, only to lose it in the rematch.

This time is going to be different, as he looks to defend the NXT North American Championship tonight. His opponent has not been announced, but smart money is on it being whoever was hiding under the scream mask and helped him win the NXT North American Championship in the first place.

The Kings Of NXT Look To Hold Their Gold

It was a long road to the top for Oney Lorcan & Danny Bunch, but Pat McAfee gave them that extra little push they needed. They’re now NXT Tag Team Champions, but the former champs, Breezango are calling for their rematch. Last time, they were moments away from victory when Pat McAfee got involved, but this time they might also need to worry about Pete Dunne at ringside. The Kings of NXT need to hold onto whatever gold they have while they gather some more.

Getting Revenge Over A Broken Tank

Last week, we saw a great singles match between Shotzi Blackheart & Toni Storm, with part of the story being that Blackheart thought Storm was behind the disappearance of her tank. She got it all wrong, and it was Candice LeRae behind it all. LeRae would show up on the screen at the end of the match, with Blackhearts tank on a busy road. Storm got the win, and then LeRae ran over the tank. Despite how it sounds, Storm had nothing to do with this scheme, and tonight has challenged LeRae to a one on one matchup.

The only other announced match at this time is Xia Li vs. Raquel Gonzalez, another mismatch requested by Li herself, as she gets more and more anxious about needing to win a match. What are you most looking forward to tonight on NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
