Nothing like post pay-per-view hijinks to get WWE Raw Preview excited to see what’s going to happen, and last week had some interesting turns.
The top of the list involved Randy Orton and his new line of challengers.
All in all, it was an interesting beginning to Randy Orton’s 14th championship reign last week as Drew McIntyre and the Fiend targeted him, but WWE Raw Preview are curious who will step up this week.
There are plenty of wrestlers in line, including the new Mr. Money in the Bank as the Miz bides his time to cash in on McIntyre or Reigns (Survivor Series probably).
Orton’s got a large target on his back, so who’s going to take a shot tonight and try to cash in?
Guitar on a Pole Match – Jeff Hardy vs. Elias
After exchanging guitar shots the last couple of weeks, Elias and the Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy will meet in a Guitar on a Pole Match to settle the score.
What this is going to be is up in the air, but we’re thinking it’ll be something along the lines of a guitar or guitars hanging from a pole in the center of the ring or, more likely, all four corners.
Having a guitar in all four corners feels more like the hardcore edge the WWE has been moving slowly towards for a while now.
It’ll give both participants multiple options like in a ladder match, but also more incentive to not let their opponent reach the guitars.
Assuming all that’s needed to win will be breaking a guitar over their opponent, using multiple sets could add a whole new element and put this up to pay-per-view type of status.
Final two Survivor Series Spots
With AJ Styles, Keith Lee, and Sheamus locking in their spots last week, it leaves two more to be filled and the field is wide open.
The possible combinations are numerous, but two we expect to be in contention and make it are Angel Garza as it’d make sense his push would continue.
We expect him to defeat Carrillo once more to advance.
The last addition will be Braun Strowman as he’ll most likely face Dabba-Kato because, well, it’ll be a battle of big men for an opportunity.
It makes sense to further Lee and Strowman’s feud by putting them on the same team, which will lead to them fighting with each other and probably leaving the Raw team shorthanded at the event.
There’s definitely plenty of possibilities for the final two spots. What are yours? Let WWE Raw Preview know in the comments below.
