These types of episodes are some of the few types it’s great the showrunners want to only create perfect moments instead of a good story for our benefit.

They allow us to get lost in some of our favorite characters and their holiday shenanigans while giving us a break from our own shenanigans.
It’s a win-win in many ways for us, so let’s sit back and dive into the goodies.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been through an emotional rollercoaster the last few months, and it’s going to be interesting to see what she and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) come up with as a new tradition.
We’re expecting it to be small and pretty simple, but filled with love and joy they share.
Because of that, it wouldn’t surprise us if it’s something as simple as coffee or breakfast in bed since they relish the simple joys in life, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have grander ideas.
Okay, maybe not so grand as we’re thinking they’ll do a picnic type of lunch. Something simple like setting a blanket or sheet on the floor on a whim.
It’s something so simple yet thoughtful that it would be a great way for them to establish a new tradition while not making it a huge deal.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 23: The ultimate gift
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has given his wife everything she could ever want, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t complain about much due to that.
But there is one thing we think she wants, and that’s peace of mind or simply peace.
With all the trouble in Genoa City thanks to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the other Newman children, Nikki would love for Victor to finally wipe his hands of the situation.
But since he swore he will never give upon Adam, we doubt she’ll get her wish in this regard.
So, we’re thinking Victor will buy an estate in Europe. Since they’re already there, assuming he listened to Nikki’s idea for a getaway, it’d be the perfect time.
We’d expect him to purchase something small just for the two of them so they’ll have somewhere to go when Genoa City becomes, well, Genoa City.
It’ll also offer them a place to retire to, which means they can step back and allow the younger generation to take over.
But this could just be ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers wanting a change of pace with the show.
