Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for a good show with a couple of pay-per-view quality matches as we get ready for TLC this Sunday.
WWE Smackdown Live Results are going to grab some snacks and get set up for the 8 p.m. showtime.
Segment 1
Kevin Owens came out and challenged Roman Reigns to come to the ring, and then exchanged words with Paul Heyman via the titantron.
Owens then said he’ll go find Reigns and headed to the back as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
Reigns came to the ring while Owens was backstage and he told Owens he’d be forgiven if he accepted him as the head of the table.
Owens headed to the ring and Jey Uso attacked him from behind and the pair beat Owens down.
Segment 3
Smackdown Tag Team Championship – The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
This started off fast as momentum changed hands a couple of times, with the last one coming when Roode shoved Ford off the top rope and into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 4
A great match with plenty of back and forths before Ford rolled Roode up for the pin and a handful of tights.
Segment 5
The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott) vs. Billie Kay and Tamina
Typical fast match the Riott Squad won after Morgan hit Kay with a missile dropkick for the pin. Of course, had Kay not tagged herself in when Tamina had it won would’ve helped.
Segment 6
Carmella’s Champagne Toast
Carmella cut a great promo while stealing AEW’s MJF’s “I’m better than you” reference before breaking a champagne bottle on Sasha Banks’ back again when she came out.
Segment 7
Otis (w/Chad Gable) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (w/Cesaro)
This was a quick one that Otis won with a Vader Bomb, but there will be no more caterpillar.
Segment 8
1st Annual Sami Awards
Not surprisingly, Zayn won the Match of the Year and Comeback of the Yyear, but Big E had switched the Superstar of the Year so he won.
When Zayn announced him, he came out and accepted, and his Zayn with a lowblow with a Sami Award when he tried to interupt.
Segment 9
Bayley vs. Bianca Belair
Belair dominated early and mocked Bayley. Bayley gained the upper hand after injuring Belair’s left arm and throwing her into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was a pretty good match and set Belair up for a potential monster run despite Bayley’s win after raking her eyes and hitting a Rose Plant for the win.
Segment 11
Roman Reigns came out with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. As he was in the middle of a promo, Owens came out and he took out Jey and nearly hit a stunner on Reigns.
Jey hit with a superkick and Reigns hit with a spear and the beatdown began. When it was over, Owens was buried under broken tables, chairs, and ladder.
Owens closed the show off by pulling himself out and promising to win the Universal Championship at TLC or die trying.
A pretty good show overall, though it took a step back from the last couple of weeks.
