Announced as an early celebration for her win over Sasha Banks on Sunday, and WWE Smackdown Results thinks this has the potential to be anything but tonight.
With the ring decked out and her assistant waiting, Carmella came out for her celebration.
Carmella started it off with a paraphrasing of a Christmas song, then said this is a tasting so she can better prepare for her TLC victory.
While she admitted it might be early to celebrate to those at home, she pointed out that’s why we’re sitting at home in classic heel style.
She also stole MJF’s line about being better than everyone, then gave some props to Sasha Banks for being all that physically, but added she’s weak mentally.
She said she’s not throwing shade as this is the longest Banks has ever held onto a championship.
She added that Banks is drowning, and not in the champagne she broke over Banks’ back last week, but in her own expectations.
Carmella claimed Banks intentionally disqualified herself last week, and it’s for that reason she already has Banks beat.
Christening Banks
Banks bases herself off being the best in the WWE, and hence she has to prove that she’s better than Carmella.
Carmella said she’ll have to fight her own instinct to beat her, and that no one can overcome that and promised Banks will break after her loss on Sunday.
She questioned who is Sasha Banks if she’s not the boss?
Carmella mentioned that she felt sad, and some champagne would list her spirits.
The first one tasted cheap and frantic, and she said it was kinda like Sasha Banks.
Banks’ music played and Carmella’s assistant when to cut banks off on the ramp but she entered the ring behind Carmella.
Banks took her down and landed several blows before attempting to lock in the Bank Statement on her.
Carmella’s assistant pulled then apart, so Banks went for a Bank Statement and Carmella hit her on the back with a champagne bottle. Again.
Carmella stood in the ring victorious.
Backstage, Owens was in the trainer’s room when Jey attacked him and put him through a table. WWE Smackdown Results love how this feels like the Attitude Era.
