WWE Smackdown Results (12/4) – Otis and Kevin Owens Defeated Roman Reigns and Jey Uso (w/Paul Heyman) by Disqualification

Whelp, it looks like Jey’s going solo for the most part, not that WWE Smackdown Results are surprised. Welcome to the consequences.

Jey and Otis started it off and Otis mauled him, and hit with clubbing blows when he wasn’t throwing Jey around the ring.

Jey tried to fight back but Otis nailed him with a right and threw him across the ring.

Jey hit a series of forearms and ran into a clothesline that knocked him senseless.

Otis threw him into their corner, but Jey dodged Otis’ charge and Otis hit the ring post.

Owens came in and beat down Jey before jey reversed a throw and sent Owens into the corner and hit a Samoan Drop.

Reigns’ music played and he finally decided to come out.

Owens hit a step up kick on Jey, and as he crawled to Reigns, Reigns feined a tag, then ran across the ring to hit Otis on the apron with a Superman Punch.

Reigns headed over to Otis and bounded his head off the apron, announce table, ring post, and then the ring steps.

Reigns then beat Otis with the ring steps repeatedly.

Owens hit Reigns from behind and started beating on him but Jey hit with a forearm off the ring apron.

    Owens faces impossible odds

Back from commercial, the action was back in the ring as Reigns hit Owens with a Superman Punch off the ropes. Otis was taken to the back during the commercial break.

Jey tagged in and Reigns threw Owens into a uppercut by Jey. Jey told Owens he talks too much, and then beat Owens down.

Owens rolled out of the way and Jey this the turnbuckle, and Owens hit a cannonball.

They exchanged rights before Owens hit an uppercut and then a senton.

Jey hit another uppercut but Owens hit with a DDT for a near pinfall.

Owens ran into a reverse elbow, but hit a Samoan Drop on Jey then glared at Reigns, daring him to get into the ring.

Jey tried to attack Owens from behind, but Owens blocked it and hit with a right of his own. Reigns then nailed Owens, and Jey hit with a superkick.

Jey went for an Uso Splash, but Reigns told him to get down and tag out because it’s Reigns’ show and he’s the champion.

Jey ignored him and went to grab Owens. Owens nailed Jey and then knocked Reigns of the apron. Owens then caught Jey’s superkick attempt and hit a stunner for a near pin that Reigns broke up.

    Reigns’ message

Reigns then locked in a guillotine choke on Owens and the referee called for the bell for disqualification?

Reigns released the hold when Owens was out, then turned his attention to Jey who went to get a couple of chairs.

They took turns beating Owens with the chairs, and at Reigns’ instruction, Jey put his chair on Owens and hit an Uso Splash.

Reigns then hit Jey and proceeded to beat him with the chair for not tagging out.

After tossing the chair aside, Reigns laid the championship on Owens and told him now he has his attention and lectured Owens about interfering with his family.

He promised to take Owens’ manhood and livelihood, stating Owens and hit family will fear him.

Reigns then stood tall holding up his championship belt as the show ended.

This was a decent show, but given how Reigns wasn’t disqualified for using the ring stairs but a guillotine choke is beyond us. It’d be nice is there was some consistency with their rules, but whatever.

What did you think of the show? Let us know below in the comments, and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results.

We had a blast and look forward to seeing you all next time.
