‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here, and we’re excited to get a new week off to a great start with some spoilery goodies.
We have to admit, we feel robbed of missing out on a legitimate New Years episode this year, but guess they couldn’t figure out how to make the current storylines fit with one.

It’s understandable given how much work goes into making each episode, but we’re back on track now that the biggest holidays are behind us for the most part, so it’s back to life as usual in Genoa City.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 4: Chelsea’s condition worsens?
Everything that could go wrong for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have since they decided to leave Genoa City and start over.
There’s no arguing that Adam doesn’t deserve a lot of what it happening to him, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are curious about the surprising news he’s going to get concerning Chelsea.
Could she be worse off than we’ve been thinking?
It’s definitely a possibility considering Adam’s long been held as irredeemable. Losing, or possibly losing Chelsea due to something he did would be a huge blow to him.
There’s every chance this could be a redemption story for Adam, though it could’ve been done off camera since many fans are tired of seeing his arc being drawn out so much.
Still, it something’s wrong with Chelsea it’ll open up plenty of potential storylines. Most of which will have Adam being lectured and looking dejected or vengeful.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 4: Wedding talks begin
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have noticed that certain things happen together, like there’s something in the air.
Whether it’s pregnancy or weddings, there always seems to be more than one in a group of people that know each other.
Whatever the reason for it is, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are going to start some serious conversations about getting married.
This is probably one of the few things the people of Genoa City can agree that they don’t want to see, but we love them as a couple.
We also think that they’re about to take the next step and become an elder super couple to give us more than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
We’re not saying they will or should be pushed aside, but would it really be a bad thing to add more powerful couples and cut back on their influence to a point?
It’d make sense as it’ll help establish the show for the next generation, but what do you think?
