I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for an awesome night with a stacked card, so we’d better grab plenty of drinks and snacks and get ready for the ride at 8 p.m. EST.
Impact Wrestling Live Results are stoked as this is the Go Home episode for Genesis this Saturday, so we’ll see you back here at showtime. This is going to be fun.
Segment 1
Super X-Cup Preview – Ace Austin (w/madman Fulton) vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Blake Christian vs. KC Navarro
This was beyond exciting and super fast paced before Steve took out all three opponents in the corner before scoring the pinfall victory.
Segment 2
Kenny Omega, the Good Brothers, and Don Callis cut an awesome promo in Omega’s bus.
Cousin Jake and Rhino vs. Cody Deaner and Joe Doering w/Eric Young
This was a change up as Young was expected to compete, but Cody sporting a newly shaven head came out and destoryed Jake early on as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Cody hit Jake with a low blow while the ref was distracted by Young and then a DDT for the win.
After the match, the three of them beat down Jake and Rhino until Tommy Dreamer came out with a kendo stick.
Dreamer challenged them to face him, Jake, and Rhino at Hard To Kill in an Old School Match. That’s going to be awesome.
Segment 4
Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie had an awesome face to face promo for their match at Hard To Kill.
Rohit Raju and Chirs Bey tried to convince TJP to team with Manik to prove he’s Manik and to give up the X-Division title.
TJP outsmarted them, saying he and Manik don’t get along and walked away.
This was a really fun segment and we got to see how good they all are on the mic.
Segment 5
Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournaments – Jordynn Grace and Jazz vs. Havok and Nevaeh
This was an awesome hardhitting old school type of match we loved, and was sorry to see it end when Havok hit a Tombstone piledriver on Jazz.
We love both teams and it was hard to pick one over the other.
Segment 6
Swann and MCMG went to Omegas bus to challenge them and were jumped and beaten down without Omega and the Good Brothers breaking a sweat.
Grace said she’d be honored to face Jazz at Genesis in a one on one match and Jazz accepted.
Father James Mitchel tole Purrazzo and Lee it was done, but it was complicated.
Instead of Susie or Su Yung, Susan came out and introduced herself. She was dressed like a lawyer, and this looks like it’s going to be a fun persona.
Segment 7
3 Minute Challenge – Moose vs. Mathew Palmer
Moose destoryed Palmer, but Palmer won by survivng the 3 minutes when Willie Mack came out and distracted Moose.
Ethan Page and his persona Karate Man had a face to face and will fight at Hard To Kill.
This was a hilarious bit, and we can’t wait to see their cinematic match.
Segment 8
Sami Callihan vs. Eddie Edwards
They came out of the back fighting, and beat the stuffing out of each other for a few minutes before we headed to commercial.
That match hasn’t even started yet.
Segment 9
They evenutally made it into the ring for the match to start, but after they both shoved the referee, he ended the match in no contest and took off.
Edwards gained the upper hand, but Alisha appeared on the screen and she was locked in a cage. Edwards went to her aide, but Shamrock ambused him from behind.
After wrapping Edwards in barbed wire and nailing him with a baseball bat they left him by Alisha and she asked him if he was okay as the show ended.
This was an awesome show and one of the best Impacts we’ve seen yet.
