WWE Smackdown Preview enjoys nothing more than a good rivalry, and Rey Mysterio and King Corbin could give us that.
After Corbin continued his endeavor to put the Mysterio family in line last week when he attacked Dominik and Rey Mysterio during the gauntlet tournament.
Corbin is the perfect heel in many ways as he really sells being a bully, and since that’s been the type of storyline Rey’s been stuck in since forever, this should work.
While they never followed through on the Mysterios turning heel when the family interfered in a match with Corbin, the resulting arrival of the Knights of the Lone Wolf leveled the playing field and gave Corbin an edge.
Because they should limit what Dominik can do, we expect Corbin to pick up the win and give him more incentive to humiliate Rey and his family.
Of course, Rey could pull out a miracle win, but that’ll depend on if Corbin is looking to embarrass Rey or beat him.

Ringside scraps
This has been a long running feud that’s gone on and off for the last year or so, and it should only get more exciting with the additional players at ringside.
Dominik will have his hands full in dealing with Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler at ringside as they’ll undoubtedly try to intervene when given the opportunity.
This group should add plenty of action and pick up the pace of the match from the methodical style Corbin prefers and dominates in, and the ensuing chaos will give Rey new life and a real shot of winning.
This is going to be a fun one simply because both men are capable of putting together a great match if given the opportunity and with the others providing additional flavor.
But given recent booking history, we have a feeling the outcome is going to come down to interference of some kind.
Should be a good one, though, and WWE Smackdown Preview is looking forward to seeing what these two have in store for us.
One thing for certain is Rey Mysterio is rarely boring and Corbin put up a match of the year performance with Chad Gable at King of the Ring, so we could be in for a real treat tonight.
