WWE Smackdown Results returns as the match started with Belair backing Bayley into a corner after their first lockup, and Bayley responded with a kick and an armbar, but Belair countered by body slamming Bayley.
Bayley used a rear waist lock to hammer on Belair from behind and lock in another armbar, but Belair powered out of it and hit a suplex for a pin attempt.
Bayley ducked through the ropes to get a breather, then stepped back in and kicked out Belair’s left leg and hit a series of blows.
Bayley shoved her down and hit a sliding clothesline for a near pinfall.
Bayley went back to Belair’s left arm and drove her into the mat and went for another pin attempt.
Bayley grabbed Belair’s hair and mocked her, and Belair pummeled Bayley from pillar to post and drove Bayley into the corner before hammering on her some more.
Bayley rolled under the ropes to get away from her, then hit Belair with a kick to her injured left arm.
In the ring, Bayley tried to capitalize but Belair hit a dropkick, kipped up, then hit a standing moonsault for a pin attempt.
Bayley got her foot on the rope to break the pin and slid out to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Best night
Back from commercial, the pair were back in the ring and Belair caught Bayley in the air and hit a buckle bomb and then hit with a face slam for a near pinfall.
Belair hit a series of shoulders on Bayley in a corner, then ran into a double knee, and Bayley hit a armbar slam off the top rope for a near pinfall.
Belair rolled Bayley up, but Bayley rolled through the pin attempt and hit with a knee for her own near pinfall win.
Bayley then stood on Belair’s shoulder while she wrenched her left arm back, then Bayley went to the top rope.
Bayley hit a flying elbow to the back of Belair’s neck for a near pinfall.
Belair rolled Bayley up, and they exchanged pin attempts before Belair bridged out of a pin attempt and went for a backslide, but Bayley fought her off.
Belair nailed her with a right and picked Bayley up for a Glam Slam but her arm gave out.
Belair then used Bayley’s charge against her to hit a snake eyes and then a KOD for the win.
This was a really good match as both went back and forth and relied on some solid wrestling.
Braxton met Belair on the ramp and ran down her week and asked how it felt to cap it off with defeating Bayley.
Belair said she’ll never apologize for being herself and said Bayley isn’t her role model, but she’s the perfect one to prove herself against.
She pointed out that this was the biggest win of her career, and the only thing that can top this win will be winning the Royal Rumble.
