A lot of 90 Day Fiancé viewers know that Biniyam was previously married to an American woman, Bria. The duo met when Bria was living in Ethiopia. She was working with impoverished children. They tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony and they were expecting a baby within seven months.
Bria wanted to give birth to her son in America, so they duo applied for Biniyam’s K.1 visa. Unfortunately, it was denied. Bria traveled to the United States to attend her sister’s wedding and she stayed back after her baby was diagnosed with a birth defect. Biniyam was able to travel to America for the birth of their son on humanitarian parole in January 2017.
The marriage didn’t work and Bria decided to stay back in the states with their son. Biniyam has been missing his son ever since.

A lot of 90 Day Fiancé though Biniyam’s relationship with Ariela would end like his previous relationship with Bria, but the duo are doing well and are happy with each other. However, on his first son’s birthday, Biniyam shared several pictures of the boy and a heartwarming message.
The 90 Day Star fiance wrote, “Happy Birthday Simon. I always remember you and your laugh, smile, your smell, and your cry.” Biniyam wanted his son to know that he will always be his father, even though he hasn’t seen him for a long time. He wrote that he hopes that Simon’s day is speciall and filled with so much love.
Fans of the 90 Day Fiancé star were moved by his emotional post. “I hope you get to see him soon,” someone said. Another fan told him not to worry, that he will be with his son son. Some other fans pointed out that Simon looks like his dad and even his half brother, Aviel. They also hope that one day, Ariela will be able to help Biniyam travel to the United States so that he will see his son.
