Last week, Eddie Kingston (through great help) was able to defeat Lance Archer, and then continued the beatdown after the bell. This week, he faces the consequences of his actions when the AEW locker room will surround the ring for a lumberjack match. While this puts The Butcher, The Blade & Bunny at ringside, it’ll be tricky for them to get truly involved in the match. It might work out for Kingston however, as someone might catch him when Archer chokeslams him over the top rope this time.
Picking Up Where They Left Off
They’d hit the ring to start off where they left off, brawling it out. Archer threw Kingston out of the ring, and he came back in. Butcher & The Blade pulled Archer out, and he decided to attack Peter Avalon, before Archer ran into the ring post and was beat down. Kingston took advantage, was thrown out, and was thrown back in by Billy Gunn. He’d go back out of the ring to fight everyone, and Archer dove over the top rope onto everyone beneath.
Back in the ring, Kingston hit a low dropkick, and before hitting a knee drop to the back of Archer’s neck. Kingston hit a headbutt, and threw him out to be mauled by the heels at ringside. Archer was then thrown to the face side, and they just got him back in the ring after a breather, where Kingston hit another headbutt.
That just pissed Archer off, and so did an eye poke. He was choked on the top rope, and hit in the kidneys, Kingston using every roughneck trick in the ring, before chopping him and sending him to the outside for another mauling.
Lance Archer Plants Eddie Kingston
Archer got back in the ring, and Kingston lost control after being planted with a Full Nelson slam. He’d hit a running shoulder tackle, before the tossing vertical suplex, and setting up his twisting springboard splash in the corner. Bunny jumped on the back of Archer, and Kingston saved her from the Black Out with a spinning backfist.
Kingston went for the exploder suplex, and Archer landed on his neck but kicked out at one. Blade brought a table into the ring, but Bear Bronson speared him through it. Bear Country took the fight to Butcher & The Blade, and Archer was back in control with a big right hand and uranage. Archer nailed Black Out, and this one was through.
Do we need a tiebreaker between Archer & Kingston? Does he have allies in Bear Country going forward? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
