In the eyes of NXT UK’s self proclaimed leading lady, all a Brookside is good for is carrying her luggage. This is obviously a slap in the face to both Xia Brookside and her legendary father, Robbie Brookside. Tonight, her issue with Nina Samuels reaches it’s breaking point. Whoever loses tonight, is the victor’s personal assistant for the next month.
Nina Samuels Shows Her Aggression
This grudge match almost got started as soon as Samuels hit the ring, but the referee kept order until the bell rang. Brookside ran in with a dropkick and some clubbing blows and kicks on the mat. Samuels came back with some forearms of her own, before taking one right across the chest. Brookside was taken down into a full mount, as Samuels rained down strikes.
Samuels was thrown aside, and Brookside started to work on the arm of Samuels with strikes and stretches. Brookside & Samuels brawl spilled to the outside, with Brookside being kicked into the bags of Samuels at ringside before they barely broke the referee’s ten count. Samuels would attack Brookside in the corner with some kicks, before whipping her across the ring.
Never Doubt Xia Brookside
Brookside was dropped with a scoop slam, before Samuels applied a body scissorhold. Samuels moved into the rear chinlock, before twisting into an armbar. Brookside would be next moved into a Bow & Arrow lock, but she slipped out and into a cover for a two count. Samuels took a neckbreaker in the center of the ring for another near fall, before rolling out of the ring and taking a dropkick through the ropes.
Brookside once again brawled with Samuels on the outside, only to be driven into the barricade back first, before Samuels grabbed her in position for a powerbomb, but then swung her head into the steel. Back in the ring, she’d stomp Brookside before going to grab that loaded purse from ringside. Brookside dodged the strike, kicked the purse away and got the flash pinfall.
