WWE Raw Results returned as Edge started it off with a crossbody and pounded on Orton before hitting a big boot for a pin attempt.
Edge hit a rising knee off the ropes for another pin attempt, and then went for the Anti Venom, but Orton blocked it and threw Edge to the mat.
Orton hit an uppercut and stomped Edge and ground his foot into Edge’s midsection in the corner.
Orton pounded Edge with some rights and a knee before he pulled him up and hitting a kick and knee before choking him out on the ropes.
Edge reversed a whip into a corner and hit a DDT for a near pinfall.
Edge then waited for Orton to get up and went for a spear, but Orton countered it into a powerslam.
Orton threw Edge into the ring post and he fell to the floor.
Orton whipped Edge shoulder first into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
With a little help
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Orton’s still in control and nailed Edge with an uppercut and a right as he’s increased the pace.
Orton stomped Edge’s midsection and then nailed him with several rights before Edge badly missed a right and Orton sold it late.
They then hit each other with a clothesline that caught Edge some time before he headed to the top rope.
Orton caught him with a right and kept nailing him before climbing up to attempt a superplex. Edge punched Orton’s knee to drop Orton to the mat, but he climbed back up.
Edge hit him in the ribs and then a headbutt dropped Orton to the mat. Edge hit a diving clothesline for a near pinfall.
Orton went for an RKO, but Edge hit an Edge-u-cation for a near pinfall.
Edge ran into Orton and knocked him off the ring apron to the barricade face first.
Edge followed him out and thew him into the ring, but Orton rolled out the other side of the ring to the floor.
Orton propped himself on the announce desk, and he stuck a thumb in Edge’s eye and suplexed him onto the announce desk before throwing him into the ring.
Orton slingshoted Edge into the bottom rope, and then hit a draping DDT.
Orton was ready to finish Edge off when a nursery song started and Alexa Bliss appeared sitting on the turnbuckle behind him with blood running out of her mouth.
Edge used the distraction to hit a spear for the win.
Well, this was a cool ending, but Edge didn’t win this one, but I guess it closes out this feud for the moment.
Overall, it was a fun match and show, and was vastly better than last weeks continuity wise.
