WWE Raw Results returned as backstage, Shane McMahon was leaving when Drew McIntyre stopped him as he got into the limo.
He wasn’t happy at not being told about what was happening, and that he thought he was facing Sheamus. Shane told him nothing is bigger than him in the chamber and wished him good luck before leaving.
AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Jeff Hardy
It started out with Jeff locking in an armbar but Styles made it to the ropes to break the hold. Styles then did a go behind and Jeff did the same.
Jeff locked in a side headlock, and Styles threw him off the ropes but Jeff hit him with a shoulder block.
Styles hit with a kick and a series of rights as he backed jeff into a corner, then he ran back in but Jeff sidestepped him.
Jeff caught him with a kick and sent him into a corner and hit a shoulder. Jeff then Snapmared him over and hit a kick before going for a pin attempt.
Styles backed Jeff into a corner and threw him across the ring into the opposite corner and hit a shoulder. Jeff then sent him off the ropes and hit a backdrop and an axhandle for a near pinfall.
Jeff bounced Styles head off all four turnbuckles, then hit a leg drop for a pin attempt.
Jeff hit another kick and sent Styles into the ropes, then flipped Styles over after blocking Styles’ kick.
Jeff leaped over Styles in the corner and Styles ran into the turnbuckle while Jeff seemed to injure his left leg and rolled to the floor.
Jeff tried to pull himself up on the announce desk and Styles hit a running chop block, then reset the count before dropping Jeff’s injured knee on his in a knee breaker, then slammed it into the ring post.
Styles works it
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Styles still working on Jeff’s injured knee in the ring with a knee drop.
Styles followed that with a kick to Jeff’s hamstring and then slammed him foot into the mat. He followed that with an attempted move, but Jeff hit a step up kick.
Jeff limped over to Styles in the corner, and Styles rolled him into a calf crusher. Jeff made it to the bottom rope to break the hold.
Jeff tried to fight Styles off, and Styles tried to whip him into the ropes but Jeff’s leg gave out and he pulled himself to his feet in a corner and flipped Styles over the rope and onto the apron.
Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Jeff hit the drops to drop Styles on his face in the ring.
Jeff then hit a jawbreaker, inverted atomic drop, double leg drop, basement dropkick, and splash for the pin attempt.
Jeff hit another step up kick and then hit a face first slam for a near pinfall. Jeff picked Styles up and Styles kicked his leg and went for a Styles Clash that Jeff countered into a Twist of Fate.
Jeff crawled to the corner and the top rope, but Styles rolled out of the way of his swanton bomb. Styles then locked in the calf crusher again and this time it was too much for Jeff as he had to tap out.
Riddle’s not right
Backstage Riddle came up to Keith Lee before their match, and Riddle said Bobby Lashley got the better of him, but he headed home and got toasty.
Lee asked if he’s okay since it seems that Lashley knocked something loose in him and maybe he should take a break.
Riddle said he’ll beat Lashley, and Lee said maybe it’s time someone new got a shot as he has what it takes to beat Lashley and Riddle later tonight.
Riddle wished him good luck and said he’d see him later tonight. WWE Raw Results expect this to be a fun match.
Sheamus promises mayhem
Sheamus stopped Adam Pearce backstage and demanded to know why his one on one match was changed as it broke Pearce’s promise to him.
Pearce told him he understands, and Sheamus asked him if he thinks he’s not a draw.
Pearce said, “we think” and Sheamus pounced on it by noting how Shane gave him full credit.
Sheamus added that he’s seen people like Pearce come and go while they ignore people like him.
He added that McIntyre is the shiny new toy and that when he unleashes brutality in the chamber it’s Pearce’s responsibility.
WWE Raw Results can’t wait to see Sheamus finally unleashed.
