It was a sign of Whyte’s improvement that he didn’t look to rush shots despite the Russian being wobbly on his feet. The two rivals shook hands after the titanic battle, but Whyte refused to close the door on a third battle with the Russian after the fight. However, there could be another massive fight that could be further up on the agenda, as promoter Eddie Hearn teased that Deontay Wilder could be the next opponent for the mandatory challenger.
