British Royal Family News tells us that during a March 7 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry was asked how Princess Diana would have reacted to the relations between him and the royal family.

Prince Harry was asked how his late mother, Princess Diana might have felt about what’s going on with him, his wife, and the royal family. He replied that,
“I think she would feel very angry with how this has panned out, and very sad. But ultimately, all she’d ever want is for us to be happy.”

He later added, “I think she saw it coming. And I certainly felt her presence throughout this whole process. I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side.
Because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago, because it’s been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”
British Royal Family News: Prince Charles Stopped Taking His Son’s Calls After He Took Matters Into His Hands
Prince Harry also told Oprah Winfrey that his dad, Prince Charles, previously stopped taking his calls and asked him to communicate with him in writing, so he had to write down the details of his and his wife’s plan to announce in January 2020 that they were stepping down from their position as senior members of the royal family.
Harry said, “He asked me to put it in writing, and I put all the specifics in there, even the fact that we were planning on putting the announcement out on the 7th of January.” He said his father did that “Because by that point, I took matters into my own hands. It was like, I need to do this for my family. This is not a surprise to anybody. It’s really sad that it’s gotten to this point, but I’ve got to do something for my own mental health, my wife’s, and for Archie’s, as well, because I could see where this was headed.”
Harry revealed later in the interview that Prince Charles is now taking his calls. However, “there’s a lot to work through” in their relationship.
On January 8 2020, Prince Harry and Megan Markle announced that they would be stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family. They have since relocated to Los Angeles where they live with Archie, their son.
The Queen confirmed on 19 February 2021, that the duo would lose their royal titles and stop being working members of the Royal Family.
