WWE Raw Results found Elias and Jaxson Ryker backstage as they approached Damian Priest and Bad Bunny.
Elias told Priest there’s mutual respect between the two of them, then told Bad Bunny he has a business proposal for him.
He said only a few of them can sit at the top of the charts and change the world, inspiring everyone.
He doesn’t think anyone will touch his album, but Ba Bunny is on his way and he has so much more potential.
Elias offered they collaborate and turn the music industry on its ear.
Bad Bunny said something to Priest and Priest relayed that he said no, so the scene closed with Elias and Priest staring each other down.
Elias welcomed us back from commercial from the ring where he introduced himself and Jaxson Ryker. He then enlightened us about the greatest travesty in the music industry.
“Universal Truth” was snubbed from the Grammy’s and equated it to Tom Brady not being at the Slammy’s
He then said this is a great time to remind everyone, especially Bad Bunny that WWE stands for Walk With Elias.
Bad Bunny’s music played and he came out, followed by Damian Priest.
Elias w/Jaxson Ryker vs. Damian Priest w/Bad Bunny
This started out with a lockup and they went back and forth in the roeps before Priest backed Elias into the corner.
After breaking, they locked up again, and Elias used an armbar, and Priest reversed it and Elias made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Elias went for a neck hold and Priest countered it into an armbar/chin lock combination.
Elias tried to fight his way out, but Priest maintained control. Elias reversed the hold and hit a knee, then whipped Priest into the ropes.
Priest hit with a kick and then a reverse elbow and a spinning heel kick before clotheslining Elias over the top rope and to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Elias slapped on a side headlock.
Priest threw Elias off the ropes and ate a shoulder block, then hit an arm drag take down.
Elias made it to his feet and broke the hold with a chop, but Priest hit with a knee, headbutt and a kick.
Elias went for a knee strike off the ropes, but Priest caught him with another arm drag and armbar. Elias made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Elias then turned it around and jerked Priest’s neck into the rope.
Final push
Elias then hit a series of strikes and kicks in the corner, followed by a boot to the face and then slammed Priest’s face on the apron a couple of times before hitting another knee.
Back in the ring, Elias hit a clothesline for a near pinfall.
Elias hit another running knee in the corner, then pulled him to his feet and hit a right.
Ryker nailed Priest with a right while the official was distracted and Elias went for a pin attempt, but Priest kicked out.
Elias then locked in a reverse chin lock and went for a pin attempt, then went back to the reverse chin lock.
Priest powered out of the hold and flipped Elias over his shoulder and nailed him with a right.
Priest countered two punches by Elias with one of this own, then hit a couple of kicked before hitting a clothesline off the rope.
Priest then hit a spinning elbow and a Broken Arrow for a near pinfall.
Ryker got on the apron to distract Priest, and Elias rolled him up for a near pinfall. Priest rolled him over for his own pin attempt, then he caught Elias with a kick through the ropes.
Elias hit with a knee strike for a near pinfall.
Priest reversed a couple of Drift Away attempts, and Elias drove him into the corner the second time and hit a few kidney shots.
Elias put him on his shoulders, but Priest slipped free and hit a bell clap and Hit the Lights for the win.
This was a good match and we got to see Priest struggle for the first time on the main roster. WWE Raw Results can’t wait to see what’s in store for Damian Priest going forward.
He’s definitely one of our favorites.
