Logan Paul sent fans into a frenzy as it looks like he will be making an appearance on WWE and none bigger than at SmackDown.
Logan Paul Will Appear On SmackDown
The Youtuber has already got a lot on his plate, given the upcoming boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. That has not stopped him from stealing some fans from the wrestling world. In a tweet posted by WWE, they confirmed his appearance was as good as done: “@LoganPaul will be the special guest on @SamiZayn’s Red Carpet Premiere! #SmackDown.”
And it seems Sami Zayn has got behind Logan’s appearance. Sami, for his part, has hit out at WWE after he was allegedly involved in some clashes with members of the organisation. This had been due to disagreements over whether Sami should come and perform during the pandemic. But according to Sami’s Twitter feed, there is clearly more to it than that.
He tweeted Logan: “I sent a bunch of raw footage that my documentary crew has collected over the past few months. What you saw was the tip of the iceberg. No one understands how bad @WWE has it out for me. Judge for yourself. Thx.”
And Logan championed his cause by acknowledging that Sami’s grievances might have some merit. While it is good to engage with another wrestler, Logan will need to be to back up any claims, especially if he is appearing on SmackDown. Logan replied: “Yeah, I checked it out. you might be on to something.”
In the meantime, Logan has been busy promoting his fight with Floyd. Although the fight has been announced, the delays in actually getting it done have caused fans to question whether Logan is afraid, and therefore having second thoughts. After all, Floyd has an unbeaten record and will be full of confidence despite being retired for the past three years.
In an appearance on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan denied that he was avoiding Floyd. He said: “People are asking me if I’m like scared. No, no, I’m not scared. The feelings I’m getting right now are just excitement. I’m excited, I’m blessed to have this opportunity, and I think we’re gonna wow a lot of people.”
