After appearing on only seven episodes of WWE Raw, Adnan Virk and the WWE have parted ways.
The news was released through the WWE on their social media.
“WWE and Adnan Virk have mutually agreed to part ways. WWE thanks Adnan for his work.”
Some hints that things weren’t as calm and peaceful as they’d see started to appeared a couple of weeks ago when Sheamus roasted him during one of his in ring promos.
“Even that fella there, Virk or whatever his name is, who’s out of his depth on commentary. He’d even give him a shot at the United states championship.”
This was pretty much when I knew Adnan Virk wasn't going to last although I'm sure some people felt that way after the first week. #WWE #WWERAW https://t.co/5rdq0LC18S

Virk responded the following week and it appeared there was a feud of sorts but it looks like the WWE is going in a different direction.
Not the best of fits
Virk is a consummate professional but he never seemed to fit in with the WWE style of doing things as he never really connected with fans.
Of course, there’s also the thought that Vince McMahon talks to the commentators constantly and tells them what to say, according to Jim Ross in a couple of interviews, so could that be a reason?
We may never know and that’s fine. He gave it his best shot and he just wasn’t compatible with the product.
He did have a couple of moments, and one of them was his final bit of commentary during last night’s WWE Raw when the pyros exploded in Reginald’s face as he headed to the back.
“What a crazy explosion!”

There aren’t many better phrases to go out on, especially considering it sounds like something that would’ve been said at the beginning of the Attitude Era before such things became commonplace.
Adnan Virk added a certain level of credibility to the show as his professional sports commentary career has plenty of meat to it, but in the end it wasn’t enough.
We wish him all the best in his other endeavors as the WWE looks for another key component to their already weak commentating team.
The question is, who will they sign to replace him or will they promote from within? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
