It’s that time of the year where rumors begin swirling about various Impact Wrestling stars like Moose and Jordynne Grace and whether they’ll resign or go elsewhere.
One good bit of new is Jordynne Grace resigned, and now it’s a waiting game to see if Moose and others remain or ply their craft elsewhere.
Good relationship
Moose signed with Impact Wresting when it was still TNA in 2017 and he’s been one of the company’s top performers.

One of the most sought after things a professional wrestler wants is creative control and/or a good creative team, and according to a report from sportskeeda, Moose said:
“You have a lot of minds that want to help the talent out. You do have a lot of creative freedom. But you also have geniuses who work behind the curtain helping you out and trying to get the best version of yourself.”
This article was from January 2021 as Moose was facing Willie Mack enroute to facing Rich Swann for the Impact World Championship.
Another thing many appreciate is an owner that’s there for them, and back in 2019 Moose gave this as his reason for resigning with Impact Wrestling:
“What company out there would the President (Boss) sit in the hospital with an injured employee for several hours? That’s y I came back to @IMPACTWRESTLING”
Negotiating and places to go
While all of that is great, Moose has also reportedly stated that he wants to win the Impact World Championship before his current contract ends in June.
Could this be a ploy to get a bigger deal? Maybe. It sounds like it but it could easily be a goal of his he hopes to achieve.
The problem with that means he’ll win it at a special instead of a major pay-per-view, and while that’s not unheard of we’d expect a match between him and Kenny Omega to be a big event.
It can still happen to give the fans and Moose something so we’ll have to wait and see.
If he does leave, WWE and AEW feel the most likely landing spots for him. While they’d probably big good paydays, but he probably wouldn’t have as much impact for a while at either of them.
AEW feels like it’d be the best fit as he big and highly athletic and he could match up well with a few of their stars, but would they know what to do with him?
WWE is returning to the Land of the Giants and he could slide right in and make some noise, but he’d also be one of many.
In Impact, he has the world at his fingertips and should beat Omega for the Impact World Championship.
To be honest, he should’ve defeated Rich Swann for the belts and then Omega, but we know they know more than we do.
Just as Moose knows more about where he’ll go and what he’s looking for than we do. In the end, all we can do is speculate on what we know as he looks to make his decision for what’s right for him.
