WWE Raw Results returned as Elias and Jaxson Ryker had more tomatoes this week, but their plans for a tomato fight were derailed when Styles and Omos approached and asked what they’re doing.
Elias started to play, but Styles said no tomatoes and no songs and Omos squashed a tomato, saying it’s their opponents.
R-K-Bro (Riddle, Randy Orton) and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. AJ Styles and Omos, and Elias and Jaxson Ryker
This should be a interesting match and one WWE Raw Results have been looking forward to seeing.
Elias and Riddle tied up initially and riddle went for the armbar submission but Elias made it to the ropes.
Ryker was next and he and Riddle exchanged holds with Ryker being a step ahead and ducking Riddle’s kick and then Omos tagged in.
Omos took Riddle’s best shot and threw him across the ring twice, then tossed the New Day around while Orton dropped to the floor.
Omos threw Riddle into the other corner and Orton tagged in, and Orton rolled to the ring as we headed to commercial.
The old Orton remains
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Elias stomping on Riddle.
Would’ve been nice to see how this changed, but no replays were available.
Ryker came in and went for a cover after Elias hit a reverse elbow, then Styles tagged in for a quick pin attempt.
Riddle tried to fight free and flipped over Styles to tag out.
Kingston and Woods took turns peppering Styles with various blows and kicks, with Woods hitting a sliding face slam for a pin attempt.
Styles countered and threw Woods into the ropes, but Kingston blind tagged in and hit a shoulder and a crossbody for a pin attempt.
Elias came in to break up a double team effort and ate a missile dropkick from Woods for his effort.
Styles planted Woods with a spinebuster and Ryker came in for a pin attempt.
Elias his a spinebuster on Woods for a near pinfall, and then another for a pin attempt when Woods nearly fought out of their corner.
Ryker slapped on a Camel Clutch, but Woods slipped out and hit a jawbreaker. Ryker hit a spinebuster off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Woods survived the onslaught to tag in Riddle, and Riddle took out everyone but Omos as the giant stood on the apron unmoving.
Riddle hit a Bro Derek on Elias for a pin attempt that Omos broke up, and Omos threw him into his corner so Orton could tag in.
Riddle came off the top rope and Omos caught him with a right but Orton was nowhere to be seen.
The New Day spun Styles around on the floor like a top and Omos went out to help him.
Orton slipped in and hit Elias with a RKP for the win.
During the celebration, Orton hit RKOs on Woods and Kingston, leaving Riddle in shock.
Riddle asked why but Orton just walked away.
Deville’s surprise
Backstage, Sonya Deville popped a surprise on Rhea Ripley and Asuka and said they’ll resolve it peacefully so they can focus on their triple threat match.
She said they’ll face each other one on one, and Ripley called her out for it being Flair’s idea.
Asuka said she already competed one but she’ll do it again because she’s ready for Rhea.
Ripley told her she’ll beat her tonight like she did at WrestleMania and then win at Backlash.
Business dealings
Backstage, Bobby Lashley was asked what he’s looking to prove against Drew McIntyre, and MVP said he’s already proved he’s the better man.
Lashley said last week he pinned Strowman, and this week it’ll be McIntyre again.
When asked about his business proposition to Strowman, MVP said they don’t comment on their business transactions.
Garza’s new promise
Backstage, Angel Garza was in a photoshoot when Drew Gulak came up to him and asked if it’s a joke to him.
He said what happened last week has never happened to anyone in WWE history and he embarrassed and humiliated him.
Gulak said it won’t happen again, and Garza told him that next time he may shove his beautiful rose down his throat.
WWE Raw Results are torn between wanting Gulak to challenge Garza or to just walk away.
