Loki has quickly become the top TV show of the Marvel Universe. However, we are halfway through the season, and we still don’t know much of what is going on within the series. At the moment, we know variants are the main focus of the series. These are similar to a multiverse version of different characters in different universes, but these have manipulated the timeline that the timekeepers have set.
There is not much known about these Timekeepers, but the big bombshell of episode 3 was that the Timekeepers are Variants. One of the biggest theories that have come out of the 3 episodes is that Timekeepers aren’t real.
Lack of control through the universe
One of the main reasons for the theory of the TimeKeepers not being real is due to the major changes of time through the Marvel Universe. A lot of the Avengers went through time messing with it to defeat Thanos. It did end up with Captain America going back in time, putting them all back, but he didn’t come back. Being another break of the timeline.
A Loki variant in the series has been made through these events but why Loki was the only one that took the TimeKeeper through the events seems to hint at them just grabbing him to take down the other Loki. The variant causing trouble for Timekeepers is also a Loki making it look like this was why Loki was brought in.
Timestone paradox
Then there’s the Timestone that has been within the Marvel Universe for a very long time. Sorcerers Supreme has used it for years. Why the TimeKeepers haven’t done anything to stop him from manipulating time through the Marvel movies, except for Loki.
The fact that a Timestone can change time at any point was part of the Marvel Universe. It is one of the biggest reasons why it looks like the Timekeepers aren’t real and massive manipulation of different time variants.
